Luckily enough for you as you walked through the rain, it had begun to slow down into a light drizzle, making your walk a just a little more bearable.

Once you finally reached the grocery store, the doors automatically open and you step inside, now wiping your feet on the mat to avoid slipping all over the place. You then grab one of the baskets displayed beside you and make your way down the first isle.

"What should I make for breakfast" You thought to yourself. As you scan up and down each isle you decide on making _____(insert your favorite food). You smile to yourself as you haven't had that meal in a while, so you were excited to make it once again.

Cooking was another thing you had found happiness in, it was a stress reliever in your eyes, or at least you made it out to be since you ended up cooking most days. Continuing to walk down each isle you needed to, you finally finished getting each ingredient required for your dish.

After that, you then decided to treat yourself to something sweet, so you head over to the candy isle and grab your favorite.

Yet just as you reached for your desired candy, another hand suddenly appeared to do the exact same thing, causing you both to grab it at the same time.

Instinctively pulling your hand away, you then look up to meet the eyes of the person now standing beside you.

It was a man, and quite an attractive man you must admit...

"I'm sorry, you can have it." You say, giving him a small smile.

"Oh no it's okay, you can keep it." The man says, now smiling back as he pulled his hand away as well.

Hearing the sound of his voice had almost completely caught you off guard, it was beautiful and his slight accent of course only added to it.

"No, really it's okay. I have enough things already." You giggle, now stepping back a bit to allow him to reach the candy once again.

"Well alright, if you insist." he giggles back, now taking it.
"Thank you, it's my favorite."

"Mine too." You reply back, the both you now holding each other's gaze for a moment longer.

"Well you enjoy that, have a good day." You now add, smiling up at him.

"You as well." He says back, returning the smile before you both turn around go your separate ways in the store.

As you walked away, you can't help but think to yourself about how cute he was...
"I should have asked for his name...or maybe that would have been too out of nowhere to ask, I don't know..." You thought.

Suddenly, you then began to feel your phone vibrate in your pocket, signaling that you were getting a call.

Pulling your phone out, you looked over the called ID to see that it was mother. Sighing deeply, you then force yourself to answer the phone.

"Yes M-" you start, but she once again cuts you off.

"Where are you?" She asks.

"The store still, but i'm checking out now." You reply.

"Well hurry up!" She says before abruptly hanging up.

Taking a deep steadying breath, you fight against the cloud of anger now creeping it's way over you as you placed your phone back in your pocket.

Once you finally reached the check out area, you chose a register and started to place your items down. The lady behind the register scans each of your items and your total comes up onto the screen.
