"Are you sure you're one of the girls? You seem like a spy to me. Are you spy, Arabella?" My name rolled of his tongue perfectly and I stood completely still as he took another step closer to me.
"You know, it's my job to eliminate spies."
"Eliminat...

It's the first day of the competitions and to say I'm nervous would be an understatement. I'm petrified, scared for my life.
I don't know what to expect, or what could happen, and to top it all off, I found out that the mystery man I spoke to, the man I almost kissed was none other than the Prince himself.
I obviously can't tell anyone. I mean, I don't know what Xander would do and then telling Rory might make our friendship weird, which I definitely don't want. Despite Flo being the closet find to a confidante, I don't know whose side she's on.
Xander is her boss and she serves him, so it would cruel to ask her to keep such a secret.
Yesterday I was forced to socialise with the other girls, which basically entailed me having to listen to Ivy brag about how perfect her date went. It was horrible, up until the point when Rory pointed out they it couldn't have gone that well if they didn't kiss. That shut her up and I had to stop myself from blatantly laughing out loud.
I haven't seen Liam, or Prince Hardin, as I now know him as, since the dates. To be honest, I think I'm a little relieved.
If I saw him in the hallway, I would probably try to avoid him all costs. There's no need to further the humiliation I already feel.
"Okay Ari, so I picked out a skirt and a nice shirt for you to wear today. Xander informed me that it was going to be an intellectual competition, so you just need some smart dress wear. Here," She handed me a white button up, that was short sleeved and had frills at the top, and then a black pencil skirt, which hugged my hips and stopped just below my knees.
She paired it with some black pumps, not nearly as high as the shoes I was forced to wear on Friday, thank god. I put on some stockings and then some small dangly earrings.
All together it was a pretty conservative outfit. It also made me look very put together and professional, which was great I guess.
My hair was a little greasy so I decided to just throw it up into a messy bum, much to Flo's dismay, but when I pulled out a few strands and allowed her to put in some gold pins it looked as though it took hours to create.
Intellectual meant that it was going to test my intelligence and my mental strength. I guess they can't exactly have a dumb crazy queen. Out of the three, I think I'm going to excel best at this one definitely. I read, a lot, and then I enjoyed my studies too.
I got high grades, and the only person I ever really had to compete against was Ivy. Her grades matched mine, and sometimes they were even higher.
Our rivalry runs deep and I know that this competition is just going to increase it. We're both stubborn individuals who love to win, and even if the Prince thinks I'm a joke and is planning to eliminate me first, I'm not going down a loser.
I was in the middle of eating my jam and butter croissant, when Xander walked in. It bothers me how he just strolls in as if he owns the place and without knocking too. I mean, I could've been changing for all he knew.
