One Month Ago.
A metal orb. That thin layer of alloy contained one of the most powerful objects in the universe. And Annabeth was trusted to use it. With the supervision of the gods and a couple of ravens... But still trusted!
Annabeth took a deep breath as she looked around at the many eyes trained on her. Twelve Olympians and two, all-seeing ravens watched her every move. That was a lot of pressure.
"Are we ready?" she asked Thalia.
"When you are," the hunter responded.
Annabeth turned to the gods next. "So, how does this work?"
"When you're ready," Athena started, "you open the orb and hold the stone in your hand. To get to Percy, all you have to do is imagine his face. It should take you through a portal to wherever he is. To survive holding the stone, you all have to make physical contact with each other. Let's pray this works." She said the last sentence under her breath.
The demigods looked apprehensively at each other. Why would the gods have to pray? Who would they even pray to?
"Let's do this," Alex said, a little too excited considering there was a strong chance they wouldn't survive this.
So they did. Do this, that is. Magnus placed a hand on Annabeth's shoulder and Alex on his. Thalia was on her right with Nico's hand on his cousin's shoulder. Annabeth opened the orb, an ominous blue light filtering onto her face. The one thing on each of their minds: finding Percy, once and for all.
Annabeth picked up the gem. The ground beneath them opened up in a swirling navy vortex. They fell. The portal closed.
A blue gem clattered to the ground.
Hermes rushed over and gingerly picked it up. "How will they get back?" he asked the rest of the council.
"They'll have to figure it out on their own," Athena said. She took the gem from Hermes and let the crows take it back to their master on Asgard.

Now, Malibu Mansion
"Alright," Tony started, clapping his hands. "If this is going to be our new temporary hideout, we need... Bunk assignments! I have four extra rooms and there's six of you. Who wants to share?" He gave Clint a look. "You and Nat, I presume?"
Clint crossed his arms. "Why would you presume that? You're right, but why would that be the first thing that comes to your mind?"
Tony cackled at the 'you're right' comment as Steve inconspicuously covered his mouth to hide a grin. Percy thought the billionaire's laugh was priceless, ending up hunched over in a fit of laughter right next to him. Loki was all but amused, A bunch of children. Percy huffed, trying to stop his laughter, but it cracked up Tony even more.
It took them a good minute to cool down again.
"Okay, okay. We need to get through this." Steve, always the one keeping them on track. The world would have been destroyed two times over if not for him. "Bruce should definitely get his own room, no offense."
"None taken," said the scientist in question.
"And someone should be there to watch over Loki."
Said god put a hand to his chest in mock surprise. "Do you really think so little of me, Captain?"
Everyone gave him that look. The one that said you-tried-to-take-over-the-world-so-what-do-you-think.
"True."
"I could be with Loki," Percy suggested. "Stark had assigned me to look after him anyway."
Before the Avengers had set out to thwart Thanos's invasion - well, try - Tony had pulled Percy aside. "You watch him for me, okay, kid?" he had said. Percy knew exactly who he was talking about. "We don't need him going off to join the dark side again. It's going to be hard enough stopping that warship."
"Yes sir," the agent said, falling back into his SHIELD training and saluting.
Tony nodded his assent. "You guys want separate beds?"
Loki looked to Percy and they made eye contact. A silent conversation ensued. "Not necessary," they both said.
Their room was nice, as was all rooms in Tony's Mansion. King sized bed with silk sheets and down pillows. A forty-two inch flat screen TV, a PlayStation four and an Xbox One X.
Percy jumped onto the bed. Laying spread eagle on his back, he exclaimed, "It's a marshmallow!" He rolled over to examine the golden lamps on the bed side table, but found something even better. "Is this a Nintendo Switch? Tony has something for every type of gamer."
Loki plopped down on the bed as Percy sat up to face him. Slowly, the god leaned in, laying a full lip lock on the younger. Percy's heart hammered in his chest. He took in the sweet scent of the other. He still smells like a forest, even after a major battle. Eventually, though, Percy needed air, so he had to pull back. They sat like that, barely inches apart, for a long while.
"Can we take this slow?" Percy asked.
"Of course." The fresh scent of mint drifted into the demigod's nose.
----------
"Team meeting!" Tony's voice demanded from the mansion's intercoms.
Steve stalked into the room, looking like he just came from the gym, and gave the billionaire a glare. "Please tell me this is a strategy meeting," he all but begged.
"Of course it is. We have to save the world somehow." Tony watched as the Captain took a seat near the head of the table.
Over the course of a few minutes the rest of the team trickled in.
"This is the fourth meeting you've called in as many hours," Percy started from his seat next to Loki at the far end of the table. "This better be good."
And it was. For a second later, something strange happened. The air above the table warped and twisted. It turned blue and cloudy forming, what Bruce would call, an Einstein-Rosen bridge. Aka, a wormhole.
The team were all on their feet and ready for what was to come out. Except for what actually did.
Annabeth tumbled out of the portal, slamming into something wooden and continuing to roll. She landed face first onto the ground, grunting painfully with the impact. She pried her eyes open to find the toes of some black leather boots inches from her face. She looked up further to find a man - with shoulder length black hair and inquisitive green eyes - staring down at her. Annabeth eyed the golden daggers held defensively in each hand as she pushed herself up, raising her hands in surrender.
Surveying the room, Annabeth found Thalia at her back and the boys across the table from them. The demigods were surrounded by an odd assortment of men and one woman. On her side of the table, there was the man with gold daggers and a sweaty, muscular man that looked like he just marched out of an army camp. On the other side was the woman, with fiery red hair and a gun pointed at Magnus's head, next to an older man also with a pistol. He seemed to see every little movement in the room with eyes like a hawk. There was a normal professor like dude and a playboy with a glowing blue chest.
"Who are you?" asked the walking wall of muscle.
"Annabeth?"

A.N. I am going to be evil today and end it like that. This one is shorter than the others, just for the cliff-hanger.
All angry comments can go here. I'm sorry that I'm not sorry.
In case you we wondering, the demigods went in the portal a month ago and came out now due to time distortion. It would take a month for the portal to travel all the way to another Universe. But it only was only a second for the gang. Also, it works for my timeline so, deal with it.
Thanks y'all so much for reading! Peace. (Don't kill me)
