The Puckermans had a quiet Christmas Eve. They were both tired, so they stayed home all day with Max and Hudson.
On Christmas morning, Quinn slept in. She looked at the clock when she woke up, and saw that it was almost noon already.
"Merry Christmas, Q."
Quinn looked at Puck, who was standing in the doorway bottle-feeding Hudson in his arms while Max stood beside him.
"Merry Christmas, Noah." Quinn replied with a smile as she sat up in bed. "You didn't have to let me sleep in."
"I wanted to." Puck insisted. "You looked so peaceful, and you need to rest."
"So do you." Quinn noted. "Didn't your therapist say getting plenty of rest is good for you?"
"Rest combined with the medicine." Puck nodded. "And the occasional cigarette or two."
Quinn raised her eyebrow.
"Kidding. I'm okay." Puck promised. "And if I'm not, I'll tell you."
"Promise?" Quinn asked.
"Cross my heart." Puck smiled. "Now come to the living room. We have a surprise for you."
"I will." Quinn said. "But come sit down first. I wanna talk to you about something."
Puck furrowed his eyebrow as he sat down on the bed. He looked at Hudson and smiled as he held onto the bottle.
"I know we never really talked about it, but we didn't have a religious wedding ceremony because we don't share the same faith." Quinn began.
Puck nodded slowly as he looked at Quinn. "Your faith is important to you and mine is important to me."
"Right." Quinn agreed. "And I would never ask you to convert for me. Actually, I want to make it very clear that I don't want you to."
"Okay." Puck said, furrowing his eyebrow.
"I want our children to be exposed to both of our beliefs and traditions." Quinn stated. "And when they're older, if they want to choose only one to follow, that's up to them, but I want them growing up with both."
"Yeah." Puck agreed. "Yeah, me, too."
"Would it be okay with you if we have Hudson baptized?" Quinn asked.
"It's okay with me." Puck nodded. "But he's four days old. We can figure that stuff out later. Come see your surprise."
"Come here first." Quinn said as she puckered her lips.
"Merry Christmas, Q." Puck smiled as he kissed Quinn.
"Merry Christmas." Quinn said when they parted. She put her arms out. "Let me hold him."
Puck put the baby in Quinn's arms and stood up. He carefully helped Quinn up.
"Ready?"
