Chapter Twenty Five

Start from the beginning

"Good." Dargon nods his head before we sit down, Jario across from us. I rest my head on Dargon's shoulder and whisper, "I love you, Little Serpent."

I look up as my lips brush against his neck, and I see him smile. He twists his head and looks down at me to ask, "How did you even come up with that name? And why did you think you could call me that?"

"I just came up with it because you were small." I giggle as a light blush spreads across my face, "I didn't think I could call you it though. That was what made it funny for me."

Dargon reaches down to press his lips to my forehead, then my nose, and lifts my chin up to kiss me gently. He pulls away and then says, "You're so cute, and you know, I will come up with a name for you. Sooner or later, it's going to happen."

"Sounds good." I reply as Koray and Jandro take their seats, and gawk at us. Koray finally regains her composure and asks, "What on Earth happened between you two? And Dagon, what the crap went on with your attitude?"

"Is it bad?" Dargon asks light heartedly, and Koray says, "It's weird."

"I can change." He growls as a loud rumble comes from his chest, and Koray immediately says, "Sorry. I'm just not used to a nice version of you."

"Anyways," Dargon rolls his golden irises around, "Amethyst helped me kill the demon Clarissa put in me. I changed her into a Slytherin because I knew I already loved her, as I told you." Dargon says, then adds, "My real name is Dargon, and my eyes are gold because I am who I was before the change. Amethyst and I have made amendments."

"That's great." Jandro smiles, "I'm happy for you both, and that was some smooch in the infirmary."

My face burns hot as I put my face in Dargon's chest to hide, and he laughs, his melody of a noise flooding my ears.

"She loves me." Dargon coos in my ear as I feel my body alight with warmth, "She turned herself into me once."

"Really? How did that come about?" Koray questions as Dixon and Julissa join us at the table. I decide I'm not going to reply, and thankfully, Dargon says, "That's a question I'm not even sure of the answer. I somehow don't think my little firecracker would like to share that."

"I see."

I can feel Koray's sly grin on me, and I whisper into Dargon's bare chest, "Everyone's looking at us, aren't they?"

"Oh, yes. Everyone is looking at us." Dragon mumbles back before I lift my head and look around. Dargon wasn't lying.

Everyone gazes at us as Jandro gets lunch, and finally, Jandro says, "Well, Dargon. Tell us."

"Tell them what?" I ask as Dargon's handsome face breaks out into a grin, and he replies, "There's a special Slytherin thing we do. I just have to tell you what it is."

Dargon leans over and puts his mouth to my ear, his soft lips brushing my cheek before. It sends a hot shiver down my spine and racing over my arms. I almost chortle, but I hold in my giggles and giddiness that's flooding my system.

"You're supposed to come out on an evening flight with me. We're supposed to meet each other's families." Dargon responds before he pulls back to look me in the eyes.

"We both already know each other's families. You are free to stay here for the rest of your life, but you can't be going back and forth between here and Jerod's place." Dargon says before I bite the inside of my cheek, and I say timidly, "You haven't met Jerod after your transformation."

"No, I haven't." Dargon shakes his head as Jandro places the human food down, "He seems like a great man, but I have no desire to be around him if that witch will be there."
