The door was unlocked, so I stepped inside. I heard voices coming from the bedroom, so I started heading towards it. When I entered, my jaw dropped. A woman, the same one who I had seen leaving the apartment a few days earlier, was hastily fastening her bra on. "What the hell is going on here?" I snarled.

Andrew looked at me, his eyes wide with shock as he pulled his bottoms up. "Tanya! What're--what're are you doing here?" He stuttered. "Catching you red-handed," I spat. "It's not what it looks like! It's not what it looks like!" He claimed. "Oh, it's not? Then why are you both mostly nude?" I snarled.

"Tanya, baby--" He started. "Don't call me that! Why did you do this?" I demanded. "You wouldn't do it, and I needed t--" He stuttered. "So you got a side whore? You're disgusting," I spat. "Who is this, Andrew?" The girl asked, confused.

"I used to be Andrew's girlfriend," I said. "But I'm Andy's girlfriend?" She said. "How long have you two been dating?" I asked. "For almost 3 months," She said. "That's how long he's been seeing me," I said.

"Andy, have you been cheating on me?" The girl asked, pain in her voice. "No, no, not at all!" He claimed. "Then why did this girl say you two were seeing each other?" She demanded. Andrew realized he had backed himself into a corner, and I turned to the girl. "Did you know?" I asked.

"No, he told me he was single!" She said. "Well congratulations, Andrew. You're a cheater. Now give me back what you stole," I said. "I haven't taken anything!" He said, his voice going up. "Really? The picture on my nightstand. It's missing and you're the only person that's been in my room since I moved in," I said. "Well, I didn't want you to have pictures of other boys in your room in case you decided to go be with them," He replied.

"That picture is the only one I have of my best friend, who died 4 years ago!" I bellowed, and his face paled significantly. "Andrew? What's going on?" Hanna stuck her head into the room. "Your brother is a cheater and a thief," I told her, and Hanna's face darkened. "What did he take?" She asked. "A picture of a man with black hair and green eyes," I explained.

"I know what you're talking about. Come with me," She said, and I followed her to a table. "Here, is this it?" She asked, pulling the picture out. "Yes. Thank you," I said. "I'm so sorry about him. I had no idea, I would've told you otherwise," She said. "It's not your fault. We can stay in touch if you want," I offered.

"You're leaving?" She asked. "I'm not staying here," I said. "Can I come with you? I need to get away from him," She asked. "Sure. Pack your stuff and bring it over to my apartment while I look for a new one," I said, and she nodded, walking away. The girl stepped out, tears running down her face.

"I'm sorry about him. You don't deserve this," I told her. "Thank you. I needed to hear that. I'm sorry about your friend. I know how you feel, I lost mine in Sokovia two years ago. His name was Pietro," She told me. "I'm sorry to hear that," I said. Hanna came up to me, bags in hand when Andrew approached us from behind. "Wait, Tanya! I can explain!" He begged.

Instead of giving him a chance, I punched him hard in the jaw. "Don't talk to me," I snarled, and Hanna and I went back across the hall to my apartment. "Thanks for this," Hanna said as she set her stuff down. "It's no problem. I should start looking," I said. I went to my room and set the picture back on my nightstand where it belonged.

For some reason, I wasn't super torn up about finding out. Yeah, I was mad, don't get me wrong. But I wasn't sad about it. Andrew was a nice guy, but I never felt that way about him. I pulled out my phone and started browsing for available apartments when there was a knock at the door.

"Come in," I called, and Hanna stepped inside. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Other than being livid with your brother, I'm fine," I said. "You're sure you're not upset or anything?" She asked. "I never truly felt that way about him. It was more out of pity that I went out of him," I admitted.

"Well, we can get far away from here and never have to hear from him again,"

a/n I always knew this was gonna happen, it's the benefit of being the author. Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of Andrew from the start, because I have other plans *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
