Well, I find sometimes books have interesting stories.
They also describe certain feelings and situations rather well.
Reading about that helps me adapt our songs.
Gives me a wider knowledge of exactly who our songs can target.

Additionally, I've had a lot of spare time as of late.

it's dystopian and follows the story of a girl who made it into a competition she didn't want to be in

well, it's a fight to win over the love of the prince, who's name is maxon
i should've stayed this earlier, but the girl's name is america
her and 34 other girls all live in his castle and maxon has to choose his queen

the story is great and it has some character development
not to mention, it touches the feels too as america has to choose from maxon, and her ex that she still loves
