.... Well you don't see that everyday.

I quickly whipped my tears off the struggled to stop the eating feeling in my chest.

I guess I loathed friendship so much it hurt.

"It's okay to cry, you know?" He asked as I felt him grip my wrists, preying my hands off my face. "You don't need to hide it. At least not with me."

"Crying shows vulnerability. People can use it against you." I sighed as I batted my eyelids to dry up the remaining tears as the feeling left me. "Especially if you're a boy."

"It makes me want to hold you even more." He whispered and pulled me to his chest then wrapped his bulky arms around my neck, crushing me to him. "At least you're girly on that." He sighed out and I chuckled, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"I want your bed." I whispered back and he chuckled as he pulled from me with a playful roll of his eyes.

"I think I have more competition with my bed than Peter." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes as I walked from him and rushed to the bed with a wide smile.

"Oh yeah... Can I brow something to sleep in?" I asked as I stopped from the bed and glanced down at my clothes. "I don't want to stretch mine." I smiled sheepishly and he walked to his closet, pulling out one of his shirts that seemed long enough and tossed it to me. I hurriedly rushed into the bathroom and pulled it on, taking my clothes off and neatly folding them on a small shelf by the door before rushing out for the bed.

He wasn't even in his bed but staring out the window as I made myself comfortable under the thick dark green colours, hugging most of the blanket to myself.

"If you're going to stalk a girl in her room, have some decency and pull on a shirt." I commented when I glanced at him to which he sighed to and closed his window and curtains.

"You're so loud and talkative." He said before turning and walking to the bed. "Can't I enjoy looking out to the stars?"

"You don't look like the type to gaze at the stars." I pointed out as he laid on the bed and turned his whole body to face me. A small distance kept us apart and that was fine to me.

"Why not?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"First time I met you you seemed like a heartless cold bad boy who really doesn't care about anything or anyone. That he would mostly just impregnate a girl and deny the baby on spot. Likes sleeping with girls and all." I said and he frowned as he stared at me endlessly. "But I've realised you're actually a big ol softie who tries to show that they're strong from the outside when they can get hurt from the inside too."

"So that's what you saw in me at first huh..." He said weakly as he tried to put on a small smile but failed in attempt. "I guess I screwed up the first moment our eyes met. Is that why you can't like me?"

"Maybe." I sighed out, regretting that I started the topic and won't be able to dodge it. "Though, I think I liked Peter the moment I saw him. His eyes just... Seemed soft." I said as I smiled to myself though trying to hide it from him by placing the blanket over my mouth.

"Do I stand a chance?" He asked as he cut the distance between us only to suddenly feel his hands grab mine from inside the blanket. "If I tried, really hard, would you like me?"

"No." I deadpanned as I tightened the hold on our hands, feeling the warmness from his palms. "I don't like people who pretend."

"I didn't say I would pretend." He whispered as he moved even closer until our head were merely inches apart. "I have an insane crush on you and I want to show you everything of mine. My strong and weak sides, the real me." His voice came out breathlessly and I sighed as I shut my eyes for a moment.

"I might." I admitted, knowing too well that Ash was bound to get me to like him at some point. It just needed a breaking point. Every human has it. "I might start liking you."

"Fair enough." He chuckled and leaned down until I felt his lips caress mine, as if asking for permission. I leaned in a bit, telling him it was okay.

He leaned in even more, plastering his lips on mine as he let go of my hands and snaked his arm around my waist, bringing me to him. I felt his hand lower even more to where the shirt ended and his fingers slightly gripped my exposed thigh.

I decided to see where this was going to end and to my surprise, he retreated his hand and broke from me. I blinked a bit mesmerised as he stared back at me.

"Goodnight." He smiled and shifted back to his spot, turning his back on me and wrapped himself into the blanket.

"Ash?" I called and he sighed out shakily.

"I know. But I didn't want to get you mad again." He said quietly and I couldn't resist to smile at his back.

"Thanks." I sighed and turned on my back, facing the ceiling, shutting my eyes to let sleep drift in.
