Elizabeth's POV
Rafael and I met Angelo at the safe house, where Jessica Gold was kept at.
For a change, Jessica Gold is wearing a full black outfit, completed with an old pair of dirty combat boots. Her eyes are hidden behind my night vision sunglasses and the loose leather jacket could not be zipped past her ample chest. With the only red thing on her being a scarlet wig, Jessica Gold resembled me.
As for me, I am wearing a wine-red satin dress with thigh high splits and a low v-neckline. Standing at five foot three, I am constantly stepping on the dress that reaches the bottom of my feet.
Though our heights and body figure will easily give us away, the princes have decided to swop our dressing styles to mislead any spies following us from a distance. "Clear," Angelo announced, finishing the last check before we leave for the west custom. After his declaration, the four of us split into two cars.
Before all of us got on the car, I twisted off the cap of a sealed bottle of mineral water. Smiling, I asked Jessica, "Want some?" However, the group only eyed me suspiciously. Scoffing at their reaction, I poured a mouthful of water into my mouth. The two princes observed me for a while before grabbing the bottle in my hand. I observed as Rafael and Angelo drank straight from the bottle, leaving none for Jessica.
Ditching the Maserati and Lotus, the two princes opted for a black sedan, those that makes up eighty percent of the cars on the road. Rafael and Jessica watched us as Angelo drove off, before getting into their own car.
"I bought you food." Angelo placed the warm bag of takeaway on my lap. From the smell, it is my favourite. He has even gotten the shop right. Swallowing down my saliva, I opened the paper box and took a careful sniff. Hiding my love for fried chicken, I shut the box.
"I'm not hungry." I bit my lips, rejecting his mouth-watering offer. Of course, I am hungry. Being a proud night-owl, I woke up with thirty minutes left to reach the said meeting point. There was no time for lunch. "Eat. I can't have you fainting half-way through hacking the surveillance system at the custom." Angelo insisted, tearing open the paper box with one hand.
Sneering, I pushed away the box. "I won't." Crazy as it sounds, today, there are more important things than fried chicken. If I get conned by Angelo and Rafael now, Jessica Gold will be able to escape from justice for forever. However, my stomach refused to cooperate with me. Loud growling noises were heard in the enclosed space, making Angelo smirk. "Tear a piece for me," Angelo instructed, watching me battle my own dilemma.
He happily ate a piece of the chicken to prove its innocence, moaning about how good it is. "Just...just a tiny drumstick, then." I gave in, after poking and smelling the fried chicken for abnormalities. Soon, there were only crunching sounds as I tore through the chicken.
The unusual food coma struck me a little too soon as Angelo drove through the small roads. Less than fifteen minutes after I ate the chicken, my eyelids were drooping. From our ongoing video call, Rafael is full of energy, a huge difference from me. Why the hell are you sleeping before Angelo or Rafael, Elizabeth?
In an attempt to fight off the sleepy haze, I slapped myself. It worked as well as depending on my own brain for a Maths question. "Angel...Angelo, sla...slap me," I mumbled, unable to resist sleep's pull. The Mietitore prince only gave me a glance and sighed, "Sleep, Elizabeth."
