My phone dinged at me in the middle of the night and I reached over to check the message, as it was unusual for me to get texts at that hour. I grabbed the phone, careful not to wake Alex as he slumbered next to me. It was from Maggie, and when I clicked on it, it read:
Bar results were just posted online, we both passed! Looks like we have a lot to celebrate, love you lots!
