This is similar to the red string of fate idea but with a little twist. You don't just have one soul mate, you have three.
On your left hand is 3 strings
Your Pinkie finger- The yellow string of fate. It represents your best friend.
Your ring/wedding finger- The Red string of Fate. It represents your lover.
Your middle finger- The Black string is fate. It represents your enemy.
These are the 3 strings.
Even though these strings are basically magic, they can't string can't reach across multiple worlds. If any of your soulmates are in a different world, the string will disappear and you'll have have a knot tied around the finger they go to until you are both in the same world.
And there are some who don't have a string at all. They may have a best friend and an enemy string but could be missing the lover string. Usually that's the only one that some dont have but sometimes it varies.
