Once you finished your shower, you turned the water off and grabbed a towel. You changed into the clothes Steven gave you. As you stared at yourself in the mirror while brushing your hair, you heard what sounded like your name mentioned in a conversation through the wall. You leaned up against it.

"So she doesn't remember you at all?" a voice that sounded like the coral-haired lady asked. 

"Yeah," you heard Steven say. "She didn't even remember meeting me."

"Oh, Steven," you heard what seemed to be the pink one say. 

"How did this happen?" the voice of the purple one chimed in.

"That gem, Howlite, her gem was cracked. She wanted to get revenge on me for starting Era 3, something about her and White, so she came here, saw that I was close to (y/n), and hit her with  one of the rejuvenators Peridot was talking about. She modified it to erase her memories of me since the day we met. Urg it's like Spinel all over again!" you heard Steven say, agitated. "Wait a minute. Shouldn't we be able to get her back the same way I got you guys back?"

"It makes sense," the purple one said. "It's worth a shot."

You couldn't stand to listen anymore. You walked out the bathroom. "(Y/n)! We figured out how to fix this!" Steven said as he ran up to you and hugged you. 

"I, um-" you said, shaken up to say the least.

"Steven, give her some room to breathe," the pink one chuckled. 

"Right," Steven said. "Sorry about that." Your head ached for a second as Steven left you. The pink one walked up to you and reached a hand out and flashed you her big smile.

"Garnet I'm fine." you laughed. The gems gasped. 

"(Y/n), you remember Garnet?" Steven asked, holding your shoulders as he stared right into your (e/c) eyes. 

"Yes?" you asked. "Wait a minute. That's how! Her smile, I remember her smile!"

"Guys, it's working! Keep going! What else could jog her memory?" Steven said as he wandered the house. He got an idea suddenly and ran over to Garnet and whispered something in her ear. Steven then walked over to you, held your hand, and suddenly he was bringing you down to the beach. "This, this is the spot where we met for the first time. You were running from your brother and I met up with you here and,"

"Steven, I think I remember something. I think, I ran here, you picked me up? We went somewhere? I had this strange, free feeling?"

"Of course! I flew you to my house! And then this morning, we flew right above the house!" Steven said. He held his arms out and picked you up bridal-style. "You ready?" You nodded your head. Suddenly, you were whisked into the sky. There was that feeling.

"It's back. That feeling, I think it's working!" you said, looking at Steven. He smiled with stars in his eyes. 

"Hold on," he said with a smirk. He flew at lightning speed to the top of his house. You felt as if you'd done that with him before. He held both your hands as you got down, still floating. You placed your hands around his neck, and he put his around your waist. You two started to dance the same dance you did that morning, at this point it actually was the next morning, and you couldn't help but feel as if you had been here before. Steven turned you around and right as he dipped you, that's when it clicked. 

"Steven, why are we still awake? It's like morning," you giggled. Steven's face looked puzzled. 

"Y-You don't remember?" he asked, sounding hurt.

"I'm just joking with you! I just remembered everything!" you said laughing.

"(Y/n)! You remember! Don't joke about that!" Steven said as you jumped up to hug him. 

"I don't know how I could forget someone like you!" you said, giving him a peck on the cheek. He blushed, but he couldn't help it. He had just gotten the love of his life back. "Now, can we go to bed? I'm exhausted."

"Sure. You probably need it. We need to tell the gems you're okay, first. They're gonna be so relieved!" Steven said, bringing you both down to the porch. You opened the door and ran up to the gems. 

"Guys! I remember! I'm back!" you shouted as you gave them a hug. They hugged you back just as tight. 

"Whoo! Crisis avoided!" Amethyst said as she fist bumped you.

"Almost. We still have Howlite to worry about," Pearl said.

"I'll talk to her," you said confidently. Steven face became worried.

"Alone? What if she-"

"Steven, I'll be okay. Her gem isn't cracked anymore. Trust me," you said with a reassuring look. 

"You should trust her Steven," Garnet said, placing a hand on his shoulder. 

"And trust me when I say I'm about to pass out if I don't get to bed," you joked. You all laughed.

"Okay, okay. We can go to bed," Steven said. He walked you to his room. You got in bed and immediately fell asleep. Steven tip toed over to his closet to get his pj's and glanced at you one last time before going downstairs. "Goodnight, love." he whispered before going downstairs.

I'm sorry for leaving you guys on that cliffhanger last chapter! I tried to update this as soon as possible, so if it isn't as good as you'd hoped I'm sorry >.<. I plan for the next chapter to be longer, since these last two were so short. I hope you enjoyed this pat of the story and thank you so much for 1k reads!
