I'm not too great at fanfiction covers, but I do understand the battle between mind and self when it comes to mental illness. you mentioned that you wanted something that would portray light and dark (hope and trauma), and so I came up with the concept of feeling like you're drowning and that you're overwhelmed, but flowers continue to grow in your mind as you slowly begin to pick up the pieces of yourself.

About the Story:
Grief is everlasting. Some say it gets easier with time. Some say that the pain lessens. I don't believe them. My grief and pain is still there every day, like a storm cloud following me. It doesn't get better. It doesn't get easier. It's all a lie that they tell you.
When Kurtis died, part of me went with him. How do you get over something that was your fault? How do you move past the guilt that's gnawing on you with every move you make and every new person you meet?
When my music was first released, I wanted to go on this journey with him and I wanted him to be my rock. My music career took off, and so did he. Just not in the way that I ever imagined. So, how do I continue to go on with continued popularity without him?
