The lovely devil (Yandere Sinbad x reader)

The days went by in a rather boring way, you had been forced not to study magic, create spells and potions or do any progress from the research you had began, unfortunately it had ended the second the castle you lived in, decided that you needed a break. 

It was annoying, being stuck in a room, reading a novel for the third time that day.... not to mention that the knowledge that your children were going to have the "Preditor Protection" was enough to make you loose sleep every single night. You knew that you had to do something, that something was to become an Eclipse Mage... the problem was that you literally had no way of achieving it. 

Despite the fact that you were not a Void Maker, you were as powerfull as they were, something that had never been recorded before in your family's line. That, in turn caused another problem... finding someone who could withstand even five percent of your malicious and dark powers. There were two canditates so far but both were rejected for obvious reasons.

First you suggested Judal, given that he was keen on small amounts of darkness. The magi thought that he knew much about darkness... until you came into the picture a long time ago. And when the rest of the family was revealed, you had heard news that the magi freaked out and left the Kou Empire for six weeks... which, you weren't ashamed to admit, made you laugh so hard that you actually cried. The idea of that arrogant and bloodthirsty boy, shouting like a madman and on the verge of hitting his head on a wall, was actually pretty entertaining.

The second candidate was your husband Sinbad, since he was an extremely powerfull man. However given everything that happened... that idea had turned from a mildly good one, to the worst you could have come up with.

Judal was seen as too arrogant and reckless, despite being in a relationship with Cecil, your family didn't want him to gain that much power. Instead, you were told that the magi would be allowed to learn the bare minimum of what your library had and only after finding a way to keep Judal loyal to your bloodline.

"Too many plans... many of them are bound to fail." You murmured, it was clear that your family wasn't really prepared to trust others completely. Hakuryuu had been accepted but that didn't mean he had knowledge of what your family was really up to, most of the time. 

A knock on the door got your attention, giving permission you saw your mother enter. With all this drama going on, you forgot that tonight was the ball for your father and her. Despite her explaination of how she and your father actually fixed their once rocky relationship... well, there still a lot of questions. 

"I'm sorry for interrupting but I wanted to tell you something important."

"What is it?"

"It's about your father."

"Don't tell me the two of you went back into being enemies again." You groaned and she shook her head fiercly.

"No, no. Actually, it's something very sweet... you see, your father... became an Eclipse mage." She announced and your eyes widen.... your jaw dropped and you froze, your brain unable to progress this statemeant.

"He... he... WHAT?! HUH?!"

"(Name), darling please calm down."

"Are you kidding me?! He kept finding reasons for me not to find a person to share my magic with... and then he does this?!!!" 

"He did it to help you."

"Who did he even share his power with?!"

"He shared it with Cecil." Your mother replied and you looked at her dumpfounded. He shared his power... with Cecil....

"He... oh my god! My father turns out to be an idiot!!! "

"(Name) relax, Cecil is fine. Beside's now they are working on a remedy that can help us supress Preditor Protection." 

"It's not that simple! It's not just Cecil's body and mind that I worry about, it's also the fact that now our family is facing a crisis and my own father keeps making decisions regarding me and my children, without even asking for my opinion!" 

"(Name), you must understand... you are the one who is in the center of the current war. Sinbad is after you and your kids but that seems to also be changing."

"If it's about the dark magic, he hasn't learnt anything special. The books that aren't sealed with magic, contain the weakest spells that cannot evolve and cannot be combined with other spells to gain power. They can't even be considered true dark magic." 

"What if he and that magi, Judal combine forces?"

"Do you seriously believe, that these two together, can undo concealing spells that have evolved for centuries or that they can actually travel between dimensions?" You asked with a "matter of fact expression". 

The castle that had once been kept in the dark dimension, had been brought to the dark continent and as a result, much of the life on this speciffic land, changed. The dark magic clashed with the ancestral magic of the continet but as it began changing, many living beings, plants and even the sky began changing. 

"I can't know, I've never used any kind of magic." She reminded and you suddenly became suspicious. If the two of them were actually going to get married... why didn't your father trust your mother enough to share his magic with her?

"Why didn't he share his magic with you?"

"Because I asked him not to."

"YOU asked him not to?" You repeated and that just about confirmed that your mother had changed quite a bit. If she was as you remembered her, during her time with you, back in your original homeland, she'd be flaunting it like crazy and act like she was queen of the world. 

"I don't trust myself with that much power, I took advantage of too many people in my life... and I even managed to make your father pity me back then, which resulted in yours and Cecil's birth. I tried to take a power that was dangerous for my own selfish desires... and naturally I got what I deserved in the end." 

"The past is the past. Besides you can ask anyone in this castle, I bet they've done more unspeakable things than you, mother."

|That doesn't change the fact that I was... quite the lowly scum. Even when I tried to prove the opposite to others."

"Let's not talk about it. Besides we have more important things to worry about."

"Such as?" 

"You know of  a spell called "Trial Portal", correct?"

"Yes, I was told about it." 

"Well, apparently so does my dear beloved husband." You growled and pointed outside the window. Surely enough, Sinbad was flying high above the ground, with Judal right next to him and... from what you could tell they had discovered which spell to use to find the castle.

"How?!"

"Detection spell can't cause harm, so I didn't conceal them." You hissed, it was a mistake which you were now paying for. 

Seconds later, you heard Sinbad shout in a clear, demanding and determined tone.

"(Name)!!! Come out, this all ends now!!!"

"AND YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE!!!" You shouted and left the room, ready to face him. Pregnancy be damned, your husband needed a lesson on who was really the most powerfull in your relationship.
