Meanwhile, back outside, a bunch of sea lions were sleeping on a rock. One of them moved a bit causing the sea lion beside him to fall into the water.
Shaking his head he swam back up as Marlin and Nemo were going over what just happened while Sebrina just watched in worry.
"Are you absolutely sure I said that? 'Go wait over there it's what you best'?" Marlin asked.
"Yeah Dad." Nemo said.
"I said that?" Marlin asked again.
"Yeah Dad. You said that. Dory swam to the surface then got taken by-" Nemo explained to his father for what felt like the millionth time.
"Alright. I don't want to hear the whole story again." Marlin told him.
"B-because I was just asking about that one part.
Cause look, if I said that, i-i'm not sure if I did. B-but it's just a common misconsession. Because I asked her to wait...and it's what you do best...so i-i...*sigh* it's my fault!" Marlin swam to the surface as Nemo and Sebrina followed.
"Marlin, it's not-" Sebrina tried reasoning with him.
"It's all my fault she got kidnapped and taken into...whatever this place is! What if it's a RESTAURANT?!?" Marlin freaked out, causing two sea lions next to them on a rock to wake up.
"Oi! You three! Shut it!" A black sea lion yelled.
"Yeah. We're trying to sleep! You interrupted ma favorite dream!" The brown one laying next to him shouted sleepily.
"Is it the one about you laying in this rock?" The black one asked.
"Yeah." The brown one nodded as the black one lied down dreamily.
*Oooh. That is a good one." He yawned.
"Um, excuse me? Hello! We're trying to-" Nemo called out to them but Marlin and Sebrina swam in his way.
"Nemo wait. Those are sea lions. They're NATURAL predators that can POUNCE at any moment!" Sebrina explained as Nemo looked back at the sea lions. The black one yawned. They didn't look harmful at all.
"Um...they don't look very pouncy." Nemo told Marlin and Sebrina.
"That's what they want you to think. Just...get behind us a d let us do the talking." Marlin whispered to his son.
"Excuse me! We're worried about our friend. Is that a restaurant?" Sebrina asked. The black sea lion chuckled.
"Aha. Mates. It's not a restaurant. Your friend is okay." He explained.
"She is?" Marlin and Sebrina asked in unison worriedly.
"It's a fish hospital. Sigourney Weaver says she'll be rescued, rehabilitated and released." He continued.
"She'll be in and out in a jiff. We should know." The brown one looked up.
"Nasal parasite." The black one lifted his tail to reveal a tag.
"Anemia." The brown one perked up as well.
"All fixed up and sent on our way." The black one finished.
Marlin and Sebrina sighed in relief.
"Oh...thank goodness." Marlin said happily.
"And I see that you've been here haven't ya?" The brown one looked at Sebrina.
"Oh uh...no. We just got attacked on our way here. It's no big deal." Sebrina told them.
"You sure?" Marlin turned to her.
"Yes Marlin. It kinda hurts to move it but I'll be fine." She told them.
"Now it's alright lads. Don't you worry ab-" the black one was interrupted when he and his friend noticed a grey sea lion smirking with his pail in his mouth. What frustrated them was that he was sitting on their rock.
"Gerald! Get off the rock! Go now! Down! Off! Off! Off!" They both shouted as Gerald quickly got off the rock. They both turned their attention back to the clownfish.
"Don't you worry about a thing. That place is the Marine Life Institute. The Jewel of Moro Bay, California." The black one explained.(If you haven't noticed yet, I can't exactly remember their names at the moment, plus technically they didn't introduce themselves yet so I'ma go with it.)
"*Gasp!* She was right!" Nemo said as he turned to Marlin.
"Looks like Dory can do things besides forget." He smirked.
"Thank you Nemo. Thank you for that." Marlin told his son sarcastically. Rolling her eyes at their jokes, Sebrina looked up at them again.
"So how do we get inside?" She asked.
"What? You wanna go INSIDE MLI?" The brown one asked confused.
"Desperately. Our friend is in there. Lost. Alone. She's scared. She- she'll have no idea what to do!" Marlin told them.
"Aha. We know a way." The black one looked at the brown one and then down at them, smiling.
"You do?" Marlin asked.
"Ooh roo! Ooh roo roo! Ooh too!" Both sea lions shouted out the best they could, which confused all three clownfish.
"Uh...what are they doing?" Nemo asked.
"I don't know but it doesn't sound good." Sebrina said as Marlin agreed.(I'm doin' good so far. I've made up more ideas for FM and FS and honestly it's gonna make you all cry cause it sure makes me wanna cry thinking of the ideas.)
