A Golden Heart (Midas x reader)

"Ugh." I lie down on the couch after a mission and Cris sits at the space next to me with an envelope in his hands...wait. "Cris where'd you get that?" I ask him and point out at the envelope with the Shadow logo on it.

"This came in mail, why's it Shadow?" He asks.

I hesitate a moment before answering, "Before you get mad at me, let me explain." I then tell him the whole situation.

"Are you sure? You're not lying?" I nod. "Good, but what happens when they find out?"

"I don't know bud, hopefully nothing too crazy."

I open the door and go into Midas' room, where he has his face on his desk. "Midas?" He sits up tall and surprised.

"M'lady, sorry I was just thinking. So what brings you here?" He asks.

"Well I just wanted to see my king." I say and kiss him.

"Sorry, but I don't have much time I have a meeting in a few minutes. Unless you'd like to join?"

"Sure." Midas pulls out a chair and puts it next to his so I could sit, "So who do you have a meeting with?" I ask.

"An ally, a very interesting man of you will." After about 2 minutes the door kicks open.

"Hello Midas!" The man with a tight red bodysuit looks at my direction. "Who's this bitch? I've never seen her before in my life. What is she, does she know about the shit we talk about?"

"What did you call me?" I snap at him.

"Oh god, you're a feisty one. Are you Midas' girl? You poor soul. I never thought this bastard would ever-" I punch his jaw. "Ow!"

"Wilson. Stop it. This is y/n, yes she is my girlfriend. Y/n this is Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson." This is the secret weapon?

I look over to Midas. "Why the heck is this guy an ally? He's nothing but a dumbass."

"Well he doesn't look like much right now, but trust me he does have something to him."

"But what is that?"

"That I'm taking over." Deadpool states.

"You're not taking over Deadpool." Midas clarifies.

"I already did!" He pulls out his phone showing the yacht but with lots of party decor and taco signs. "Bye, bye kitty cat."

"No. What did you do to my yacht? Most importantly where's Meowscles?" Midas hisses.

"Oh I told him some stuff about you and he didn't take it too well. And so I stole the yacht from him. You're welcome."

"Why you-" Midas breathes deeply, "Fine then, a small price to pay for your service. But now I only have a few agents!"

"Midas it's okay, quality over quantity." I say. Midas moans and smacks his head on the desk.

"Anyways, about point zero, what do you know of it?" Midas asks Deadpool. I listen intently.

"Well, it's a very powerful source of energy that was found in Athena. It would help with your plan." What plan exactly?

Oh god, I'm lost again? I swear I'm never gonna get used to this building. Over here? No. How about this door, ah! Oh wait, what's this?

I see a bit of metal sticking out from behind a bookcase. I pull the bookcase away from it, revealing massive metal doors. I then notice a keypad. Wonder if mine can pass? I reach for my keycard and scan it, a beep and then the doors open.
