"stiles?" i mumbled out, raising my phone to my ear as i answered the boys call.
"hey, uh, did you need a ride to school?" he asked.
i let out a sigh, thinking about wanting to do anything but sit in another silent car ride with him. after we had brought malia home the other day, i had practically begged stilinski to just drop me off on his way back to the station so that i didn't have to suffer through another ride with stiles.
"no, i sho-"
"okay, good. i'm outside," he said, cutting me off. i go to reply, but am quickly cut off by the sound of beeping, showing that he had hung up on me.
"here we go," i mumbled, pulling my shirt over my head and grabbing my backpack. i quickly rushed out of the house, over to stiles' jeep and hopped into the passenger side. i placed my bag by my feet, blocking my seatbelt as stiles took off down the road.
i let out a sigh, looking out the window in thought. this was probably the perfect time to actually confront him on his behaviour, he had no where to run off to and no excuses to not talk to me. but i just couldn't bring myself to do it. i had worked up the courage the other day and i hadn't been able to since. maybe i should just go right on ahead and say it. whats the worst that could happen? he kicks me out of the car? i doubt stiles would ever do that.
"stiles-" i cut myself off, watching as we pulled into the school parking lot. "of course."
"come on," he said, grabbing his bag from the back and leaving the jeep. i let out another sigh, following his actions and walking over to scott with him. my eyebrows furrowed together as i noticed the matching black motorcycles parked beside him before my eyes landed on the twins.
"no, just to talk," ethan said, his voice coming into ear shot.
"oh," stiles spoke up, standing between scott and i. "that's kind of a change of pace for you guys. yeah, usually you're just hurting, maiming, killing."
"we need a pack. we need an alpha," aiden told him.
"yeah," stiles deadpanned. "absolutely not. that's hilarious though."
"you came to us for help. we helped," aiden defended, his eyes narrowing at stiles.
"you beat his face into a bloody pulp. that's not helping. in my opinion, that's actually counterproductive," stiles replied, shaking his head at the twins.
"why should i say yes?" scott asked.
"we'd add strength, we'd make you more powerful," aiden listed. "there's no reason to say no."
"i can think of one," isaac spoke up, walking over to us and standing on the other side of scott. "like the two of you holding dereks claws while kali impaled boyd. in facet, don't know why we're not impaling them right now." he shrugged his shoulders before crossing his arms over his chest.
"the cons seem to outweigh the pros, in my opinion," i added, agreeing with stiles and isaac.
my eyes widened slightly as i watched aidens eyes being to glow blue, his fangs sticking out as he let out a low, deep growl. "you wanna try?"
isaac took a threatening step forward, a smirk playing on his lips. my eyes widen further, my body moving in between the two werewolf's. i faced isaac, placing my hands on his chest and pushing him back gently, shaking my head at him. isaac met my eyes, a slight look of confusion on his face. i shook my head again, signalling him to back down.
the last thing i needed was for isaac to be ripped to shreds. i slowly moved to stand next to him, his arms moving back over his chest as he glared at the twins once again.
