Daleth sighed as they teasingly poked Akumu's side with their weapon, which only earned a flick and a glare directed at them, before going back to reading her book.

"I don't understand why you love to spend most of your time reading instead of socialising," Daleth muttered, sitting down near her on one of the stadium seats, looking at her and tried to hold back their yawn.

"Because I need to have my alone time too, Daleth. Now please leave me alone," She replied, a tone in her voice that suggested one of the Valley elders to step away.

Knowing the Sky kid would snap if they don't stop poking her, their weapon fell to their side with boredom projected through their eyes, looking down at the podium where some Sky children had just finished the race.

"Don't you want to join them?"

"Hm?" Daleth hummed in confusion, turning their neck to look at Akumu, who now lowered her book to properly talk to the elder.

"Your twin and the other Sky children, don't you want to join them?"

"I do." Their eyes narrowed, watching with hawk-like vision as Alef bantered around with the kids, giggling like a child. "But sometimes, it gets overwhelming,"

"So, you'd rather..." Akumu trailed off, staring at the podium with something shining in her eyes that Daleth couldn't pinpoint exactly what it is. "Stay with me when it gets overwhelming for you?"

"Exactly," Daleth breathed out, tilting his head up to look at the cloudy sky, stretching his arm up as if reaching for the heavens. "The aura you radiate causes others around you to feel safe and secured; you're calm, wise, intelligent, humble, and yet you hide all of those traits of yours behind the walls you built. Don't you notice that?"

"I... don't..." Akumu flushed under their gaze, embarrassed at the compliments the elder gave out of nowhere. "I just think that... I'm an ordinary person, so I distance myself away from the others."

Daleth gave her a look before patting her on the head, smiling. "Try to open up a little more, I bet the others would like you along with Raven, Zephyr, and Akuma."

"Akumu!"

The two glanced down to see Raven waving at them, eyes bright and smiling, motioning for the Sky kid to come down. "Join us, come on!"

Akumu glanced at the Valley elder beside her then at Raven, before standing up and gliding down towards the group, leaving the book she was reading behind.

Daleth smiled and picked up the book Akumu was reading, looking at the cover.

"To the Moon, huh? I wonder why she's reading this."
