"You can't say those types of things about her!" John told him. "She's like my little sister, man. That's weird."

"Boys! Enough," Hayley said, resting a hand on her stomach. "Listen, I am 25 weeks pregnant and have to find out a way to tell my best friend, who's coming home in less than twelve hours. It's not like I can hide my stomach anymore, so some ideas would be great."

John scratched the back of his neck. "Just tell her," he said. "You've waited long enough, she deserves to know."

"Exactly," Paul agreed. "When she gets home just be like surprise!"

Hayley thought about it for a moment before shrugging. "I'm too lazy to come up with anything else, so I guess that's what I'm doing," she said.

"Really?" Paul asked, looking at her.

Hayley nodded. "I'm going to be straightforward with Bella," she said. "I've waited long enough."

"Good," John said, smiling. "I'm glad you're finally going to tell her."

Hayley smiled back before holding out her hands, "Me too... Now help me up."

John chuckled as he grabbed her hands and pulled her up. Hayley let out a breath when she was back on her feet, her hand immediately going to her stomach.

John shook his head as he looked down at her protruding stomach. "I still can't believe you're having twins," he said.

"Me either," Hayley replied, smiling down at her belly.

"I'm really happy for you, Hayley," John told her.

"Thank you, John," she said. "It really means a lot."

The two went to embrace each other in a hug when Hayley's stomach stopped them. "Definitely not used to that," John said, laughing.

"I don't know how I could possibly get any bigger," Hayley said, rubbing her hand over her bump.

A smile formed on her face when she felt the twins moving. She grabbed John's hand and placed it against her stomach, allowing him to feel the kicks. His eyes widened when he felt the moment, "That's incredible."

Paul perked his head up. "Are they kicking? No fair, I wanna feel," he whined.

Hayley laughed as she grabbed a hold of his hand and placed it on her stomach as well. "You feel them?" She asked.

Paul nodded his head as he smiled. "There are really babies in there, huh?" He said.

"No, I'm just really fat," Hayley sarcastically said, rolling her eyes.

"You better not become a stranger, Hayley," John said with a sigh. "I swear I've only seen you twice in the last 6 months."

"I know, and I'm sorry," she said. "I promise to start visiting more often."

Because of their connection, Hayley could tell when Bella was close. She sat on the couch next to Jasper as she nervously fiddled with the blanket that was covering her body.

"Stress isn't good for the babies," he told her, sensing her emotion.

"I don't want her to be mad," she huffed.

"Why would she be mad?" Jasper asked. 

"Because I've been hiding and lying about my pregnancy for 6 months," she explained.

"I don't think Bella's going to be worried about that," Jasper pointed out.

"True.." Hayley trailed off.

The sound of a car pulling into the driveway caught the couples attention. Hayley's eyes widened when she realized Bella was finally home.

Jasper grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Everything's gonna be fine," he told her. "Talk to Bella and I'll make you dinner."

"Thank you, babe," Hayley told him as he stood up and walk towards the kitchen.

The front door opened and closed, alerting Hayley that they were officially inside. Voices and footsteps could be heard before Bella and Edward emerged from the stairs.

Edward immediately knew what the dhampir was hiding after he accidentally overheard her worried thoughts. He didn't say anything to her, though. He smiled and walked into the kitchen to talk to his brother.

Bella smiled when she noticed Hayley on the couch. She walked over and sat next to the girl, taking in her appearance. "God, it's been so long," she said. "You look like you've changed. Has your hair gotten longer?"

Tears filled Hayley's eyes, "I have to tell you something."

Bella grew concerned when she noticed the tears that glazed over her best friend's eyes. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"I've been hiding something from you for a long time," Hayley said. "I didn't tell you because I didn't want to ruin your honeymoon, but now I regret not telling you the moment I found out."

"Found out what? What's going on?" Bella asked. 

Hayley sniffed as she grabbed Bella's hands. "I'm pregnant, Bella," she said. "I'm 25 weeks along with twins. Me and Jazz are really excited."

"You're what?" Bella questioned, looking down at Hayley's covered stomach.

The Whitlock girl smiled as she pulled off the blanket to reveal her heavily pregnant body. With a shocked expression, Bella looked over Hayley's figure. Her barely visible baby bump was nothing compared to the dhampir's massive size.

"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner," Hayley said, watching Bella's expressions closely.

Bella shook her head. "I— You don't need to apologize, I'm just.. I'm just really shocked," she said. "I mean, the last time I saw you, you were so tiny and—"

"Now I'm huge," Hayley finished with a small laugh. "And sadly I'm going to get bigger."

"So your babies are growing like normal?" Bella asked, glancing down at Hayley's stomach.

"Everything is 100% normal," she confirmed.

"You're lucky," Bella sighed. "Carlisle said my pregnancy could only last a few months. Edward is scared."

"I understand why he's scared," Hayley said, grabbing her hand. "But whatever you wanna do with that baby, I'm here to support you."

Bella smiled, "I really missed you."

"I really missed you, too," Hayley replied, pulling the girl into a hug.

Bella chuckled as she wrapped her arms around Hayley. "This feels so weird," she said. "I'm not used to hugging you with a big belly."

"Me either," Hayley told her, pulling away.

"How've you been? I want to know all the baby details," Bella said, getting comfortable on the couch.

Hayley smiled, "Well, I'm having a boy and a girl. Jasper and I already picked the names, but we're keeping them a secret from everyone until they're born."

"You're not even gonna tell me? Not cool," Bella said with a smile.

"Sorry, Bells. The names are a secret," Hayley said. "Only Jasper, me, and the babies know."

At the word 'babies', Bella's smile faltered. She put a hand on her stomach and looked up at Hayley. "What's it like being pregnant?" She asked.

"Exhausting," she sighed. "Since I can't train or workout anymore, all I seem to do is eat and sleep."

"Sounds pretty great to me," Bella chuckled.

"It's great until your extremely sensitive boobs are 4 cups larger. Or until you outgrow all of the new maternity clothes that your husband just bought you," Hayley complained.  "Anyways, enough about me. How was your honeymoon?"

"It was absolutely amazing," Bella began.
