Before You Go

Yu Shuxin's POV

I opened my eyes and saw

White ceiling, white walls. Again

"Shuxin is awake now" I look at Jiaqi and saw their worried face then my mom showed up. I smiled at them.

"You okay now baby?"

"Yes mom. I want to go home"

"Okay. I'll tell them"

My mom went out.

"What happened?"

I asked Jiaqi. She sat at the chair beside my bed and smile.

A sad smile, again.

"The usual"

I sat on my bed and look at her with a smile.

If the life fucked you up, don't give up and smile. Life is a game. The first one to give up. Is the loser.

"What happened to you and Xueer? Did you guys talk already"

Jiaqi shook her head.

"But, i will not stop pursuing her"

"Yeah. Don't stop"

"Are you hungry?"

"No. But i'm tired. I want to sleep more"

"Honey. Let's go now"

My mom says walking in. I changed my clothes and we went out.

Xueer's POV

"Xueer, can you buy me that food you gave yesterday?"

My grandma said. I am here. In her hospital room.

"Okay grandma. Wait for me here. Okay?"

She nod her head. I went out and buy the food she wanted. I'm about to enter the hospital when i saw Shuxin and Jiaqi.

What are they doing here?

I look at Shuxin. She looks pale.

Is she okay?

"Xueer"

I look at my side and saw Xiaotang.

"Hey"

"Who's your looking at?"

I look to where i saw Shuxin and Jiaqi. But, they're not there anymore. I look back at Xiaotang.

"Nothing. I thought i saw someone i knew"

"Who?"

"An old friend"

I started to walk and she followed me.

"How's grandma?"

"Still the same"

We're in the elevator when she drop a unexpected question that i would hear from her.

"Did you talk with Jiaqi?" I look at her with shock.

"I thought you don't want her to be near me? Or even talk to me. Why are you asking me that?" She took a deep sigh.

"Hear her out. Everyone deserve to be heard"

The elevator door opened and she went out. I followed her.

"Did you talked to her?"

She fasten her pace and opened my grandma's room door.

Yeah, they had the talk already.

It's late at night but Xueer decided to take a late night walk at park where she's greeted by beautiful lights and cool breeze.

Deep in her thoughts, she didn't feel that someone is following her. Keeping the distance.

Xueer decided to sit in one of the benches and look at the sky.

"I miss you"

Xueer said. Jiaqi's eyes drop a tear that she immediately wiped.

I miss you too.

Jiaqi stayed behind the girl until Xueer reach her home. Safe and sound.
