They’ll be pushed to their limits, physically, but mostly mentally. And if my brother wills it, they can push Blaze and Breeze even harder than they pushed me. Luckily I will be there to observe them, follow them around in the Academy and guide them through the process of it all. That’s where I need to keep my focus…especially regarding Blaze. I can’t let her wander the hallways too much on her own. My brother will continue to try and influence her and he won’t stop until he manages that. He will stop at nothing

~ Flashback – Year: 3196 – Human Headquarters on the Moon ~
Without killing the Marsian off, he actually did give us some information on the Marsian forces that we put to use well. During the next ten years, Vulcano and I moved up through the ranks because of that, and we were now at the inner circle of Elementals. We were both Master Elementals of our respective elements and discussed matters with the Grand Master and the Master Elemental of Air. In this very moment, that is exactly what we’re doing as things have developed drastically just over the last couple of years.

“We should keep stance where we are and gain control over the areas that we’ve discovered. We need to figure out what they are actually after with this war.” I let out as we’ve been at it for quite a while. Grand Master Quake, is rather hesitant to the idea. He’s been very aggressive in his approach up till now and mostly what I’ve suggested, has been shut down by him or my brother who’s managed to convince him of otherwise. “I don’t know, Master Elemental Pool. They have not left me with that impression…” He answers. “Of course they don’t leave us that impression. It’s not the impression we’re leaving them either.”

I answer as I feel my brother’s eyes bury into me. We have just slid further and further apart over the years, each supporting a drastically different view than the other. The other Master Elemental, Master of Air, has supported my brother most of the time. “Grand Master, we should send more forces and keep pushing them back. The moon is ours. We should strike them where it hurts the most: on Mars.” He answers as Storm nods in agreement. I slightly shake my head as the Grand Master turns his head to me, as if to hear my opinion on the suggestion.

“Grand Master, it’s needless to say that I’m no fan of my brother’s rather aggressive approach. Considering we now have them off the moon and back on their own planet, we should be able to figure out a diplomatic solution that can work for both sides. I’m sure they would like to be left alone just as much as we do.” Of course my brother doesn’t like the idea. I don’t have to look over at him to tell that. Grand Master Quake turns thoughtful. He’s got two on the aggressive side and me, on my own, voting for a more diplomatic solution. He’s always turned to the more aggressive suggestion because my brother has had a way of persuading him, using every single lost human-life as an excuse to be more aggressive.

“I need to make sure I’m doing what’s right for both civilizations. We can’t constantly be at war with them. It’s bound to stop at one point. At the same time we’re draining our planet for resources. The reports I’ve read are dreadful and I want to spend more time fixing our planet that gives us the powers that we have.” The Grand Master answers. “So leave it to us to lead the assault. That way both things can be managed from the top.” My brother answers too eagerly before I counter him. “Grand Master, with the diplomatic solution, we can end the war and focus more on taking care of our planet. We shouldn’t rule out the possibility of the Marsians agreeing to the idea considering they’ve retreated to Mars.” I answer immediately.
