Chapter 5: "Almond Milk"

"Seriously, what was that all about?" Beomgyu asked. He and Huening Kai was so desperate to know about what is his hyungs talking about.

Taehyun stood up and put his plate in the sink. He walked out and played with his phone in the living room. "Mood." Kai and Beomgyu said in unison.

Since Soobin is still stuck in being red, and Yeonjun was only staring at Soobin, the younger ones decided to shrug it off and leave.

Yeonjun sat closer to Soobin. "Hey, look at me."

Soobin didn't move an inch.

A light bulb appeared. Yeonjun won't let this slide.

He cupped Soobin's face and leaned in closer to his.

Oh shit! Is he going to kiss me?! Oh god, what the actual fuck am I going to do?! Damn!

Still panicking, Soobin didn't know what to do. Run? Leave? Kiss him..? That's kinda.. nice.

Yeonjun saw how the younger one panicked by his sudden action. He wasn't going to kiss Soobin. But, a change of plan, wouldn't be bad, right?

"Hey." Yeonjun softly whispered while cupping Soobin's face.

Soobin's eyes were shaking, he didn't know where to look. He ended up staring at Yeonjun's eyes, lovingly.

Oh, I thought... Soobin was kinda disappointed. He thought that his first kiss would happen, this day. Yeonjun only kissed his forehead. Assuring that everything is fine, and there is nothing to be worried about.

The thought of Soobin seeing those parts alone made him think irrational things, about his bestfriend. But if he think Soobin as his lover, it becomes naughty rational things.

The older planned to tease Soobin again and again. But that would only make Soobin avoid him. So, he let go of the idea and continued to eat.

Soobin bit his lower lip. He wished that everything will be fine. He hoped.

"Hand me those." Beomgyu pointed the bottle of lollipops.

Kai grabbed it and threw at Beomgyu. "Catch!"

Luckily, Beomgyu catched it. "You!" He was about to chase the youngest but he remembered that they were inside the grocery.

They went to the mall to buy stuffs for their picnic later on. Yeonjun started to be clingy with Soobin again even though he knew that Soobin was still thinking about the 'like what you saw'. Fortunately for him, Soobin tried to think rational and be normal for once.

Their cart is almost full. They went to the beverages and Soobin clapped. "Almond Milk!"

He separated from the others and brought 1 big bottle of almond milk. He came back to Yeonjun's side and hugged him.

This is way more better than being awkward. He remembered when they first met, they bumped to each other. Yeonjun was a member of the dance club in their school. Soobin wanted go join the club. He opened the door and bam! They bumped their heads. Instead of being angry, Yeonjun unbelievably starred at Soobin's dimples. Then, after knowing that Soobin wanted to join, Yeonjun gleefully welcomed him even though he didn't yet see Soobin's performance.

"Alright people, let's go." Yeonjun already got a driver's license so he drove the car to their favorite park.

The car was a owned by Soobin. Well, they all have a car. The difference is that, the four didn't know how to drive and was too lazy to learn. So being the oldest hyung, Yeonjun learned it for themselves and he's now the certified driver of his friends.

Taehyun arranged their spot and everything. The park was undeniably pretty amd refreshing. A few people only go here because this is kind of hidden. Since Soobin and Taehyun liked to stroll, they found this park out of nowhere. And this became their comfort zone.

The park had swings, seesaws, slides, sandboxes, and things you can see in a playground. Everything was nicely settled. Thanks to Kang Taehyun.

They ate and shared stories like old times.

"Oh, I totally forgot! How could I!" Soobin opened his car and brought out the cooler. Did they just forget that they didn't have drinks?

He opened the cooler and took out his almond milk. He excitedly opened it and drank almost 1/5 out of it.

"Hyung, do you remember when Taehyun was late in Math and he got detention? Epic! Haha!" Kai told and received a glare from Taehyun.

That was the time when he woke up late for the first time! If you're going to ask why, its Beomgyu's fault! He chatted with Taehyun until 3am because he didn't have classes the other day, simply because he had a practice with his band.

Taehyun was so screwed. Well, not really. He was just angry because that day was just so unlucky for him.

Yeonjun grabbed a drink and took a sip. He laughed with the other boys and continued eating.

Suddenly, Soobin froze. Others didn't mind him.

Two words popped at the back of his mind.

Indirect Kiss.
