Chapter 5- Anxiety

"So tiny human..?"

The tall papyrus that's covered in tar stared at the human in front of him, the brunette ghost then turned around and raised an eyebrow, he could feel the child's red eyes piercing right through his rib-cage.

"You said when the sun and moon collide to the other Sans?" "Uh yes?" then the other Papyrus budded into the conversation, "What exactly does that mean?"

Chara just sighed and stopped walking. The two tarred covered skeletons slightly stumbled behind them and stood up straight, as the black substance dripped onto the ground below them they waited for the former human's response.

"Because that's when the eclipse will happen." Was all they said then a Papyrus tilted their skull, "but whys that? Why do we need it on the eclipse?"

"Because you futile skeletons, we're still weak... all I managed was to scare him. Surely by how he was feeling, it might even take him a while to even tell his 'husband' and I know my partner won't like that...I spent most of my afterlife with him as well-being semi-alive, so many phases I know what he is like. As for why an eclipse, do you lousy skeletons know when the next one is?"

The skeletons took their skulls and the brunette hummed, putting their hands behind their back to then grab the knife that was hidden underneath their shirt. They then quickly go against a papyrus and held the sharp tip against the edge of his jaw-line, the human smiled slightly while staring at this skeletons frightened look.

"The next one in our area will be a lunar eclipse, about a few months from now. I know I'm incorporeal, but I can't do any real harm..." The child then backed off, and started to spin their knife pressing the tip against their finger which left a cut but no blood flowing.

"Until then... I'll need to gather some materials from many other AUS, and you two are going to help me. Do I make myself clear?" The Papyrus' still had questions but to no avail they just hummed in response, satisfied the former human just continued their journey to open a portal.

Outer knew he had to tell Killer, but he doesn't know what but somewhere deep down in his soul something was repressing him from telling him what Chara even told him to do. He thought to himself and kept telling himself that it was for 'Killer's safety and mine' or 'Maybe it was the stupid kid looking intimidating..'

Either way he knew he had to tell his husband something, he honestly felt sick. He couldn't wrap his skull around it and the more time passed, the more the skeleton felt guilty.

'He's your husband! The love of your life, the skeleton I vowed for him and be with him for the rest of my life... but why is it so difficult? Why can't I just tell him we're in danger again?' He wanted to cry, it just felt like a toggle war inside his body. He couldn't let this happen to him once again...

Outer knew he was afraid, to lose him and Papyrus. From the hands of the former human, but they aren't the same they might alternate universes of the same character but they aren't the same personality. This concept seems to trouble many sanses, Outer included.

The skeleton snapped out of his senses and he shifted slightly to see his lover still rubbing his skull, Outer smiled slightly then raised up to peck his beloved cheekbone. This surprised Killer slightly, but he returned the smile and moved Outer's skull on-to his lap and continued to rub it in peace and quiet.

"Good Morning Starry" Killer hummed quietly and Outer then held one of Killer's skeletal hands and rubbed where his knuckles would be, "Morning special Comet". "Did you sleep well?" He asked, and Outer's smile shifted to a frown.

"It was okay..." Killer instantly knew something seemed a bit off... "what about you?" before he could even open his next question, Killer frowned but continued to rub the top of his skull. "Good... Starry, are you ok?" Was all he asked and the skeleton below him stayed silent.

"Starry...?" Killer stared waiting for his lover's response.

"Love... we're in danger"
