Shadow In the Wind

I scream and I shout, desperate to be heard by someone in the world.
Nobody answer or stops to listen to my prayers. Im only but the shadow of a girl they once knew. Broken down and abused by cruel words meant to "help" me. When they only break me down further. My strength came from someone I once knew that is now gone. Without them here it feels as the world has come crashing down. I'll remain silent, my pain unheard. Allowing those around me to remain happy and unaware of my secret. I wont be a nuisance to you any more. My crime of being different, no longer a problem for you. I'll play the game, and be who you want me to be. For a shadow can change it's shape depending on the placement of the sun. With the right light I wont fight being someone I'm not. I wont be a nuisance anymore, I am gone in the wind.
