A New World

The room was silent, nobody moved, the tension was immense.

"L-lady Hokage?", stepped a young redhead girl.

Tsunade looked back, "What is it Karin?"

"T-that man... The one in the mask... I sense an enormous amount of chakra in him. It's so... So ominous!", she shuddered in fear.

"Hokage", the Raikage said, "Who is this young woman?".

"Her name is Karin Uzumaki, the last of her clan as of now", Tsunade answered.

"I see", he said looking at Karin, "In what does she specialize in?".

"She's a sensory type ninja, she can sense emotions as well"

"Hmm, so Uzumaki", the Raikage spoke in a serious tone, "Is it true? Is the other Uzumaki brat dead?".

Karin frowned, "Um-"

"That doesn't matter!", Onoki interrupted, "Is it true?! That the masked man poses a threat to us?!"

Karin nodded, "There's no question about it, he's the strongest among them"

"And he's not even a jinchuuriki! This is impossible!"

"It doesn't matter Tsuchikage", Mei said.

"What?!"

"We can beat him, the power of the Five Kage combined is more than enough! To make it even easier, we bring our best shinobi to his battlefield to weaken him. So we don't need to worry much. What we do need to worry about is; what's his motive? What does he get from this war?"

A man with three scars across his face and a bun stepped in, "If I may, can I say what I think?".

Tsunade turned and smiled, "Ah Shikaku Nara, our smartest shinobi in the Leaf".

He bowed and began to talk, "First off, he mentioned something about a new world. A world where only peace exists. And you're questioning how is he trying to do that? Well, it's quite easy really, his goal is to beat the Five Kage, doing this will beat down the morale of the remaining shinobi, and the Shinobi World will come to an end if that happens"

Temari laughed, "That's not going to happen. We'll beat him, and then beat the other jinchuuriki easily. There is nobody stronger than us! It's suicide to go against us. I know of nobody stronger than us. It'd be easy, he dares to mock us, we'll make him regret those words"

The Raikage smiled, "That's the spirit. How can one man take down the two hundred soldiers, much less the Five Kage?"

"They even lost their strongest jinchuuriki, or should I say, their strongest tailed beast. Either way, we win"

Mei grunted, "Let's not underestimate this man, it's a hunch of mine. I believe, if we do underestimate him, we'd regret it. He doesn't underestimate us, he acknowledges our strength. Even if they lost their strongest jinchuuriki, that doesn't necessarily mean they're at a disadvantage. I can tell by just looking at them, that they're certainly not weak. Especially the masked man, Tenchi was it? He's going to be more difficult then we thought, that's how I feel?"

"And", Tsunade said, "Should we trust your hunches?"

Mei nodded.

"Alright, let's prepare for this war, he gave us time to prepare. By the looks of it, he has no army, he's really relying on the jinchuuriki, no matter, this war won't last even a week. It'll be over quickly", the Raikage said.

The Kage nodded and begun to make preparations for the war to come. The beginning of the end.
