The Day Orochimaru Meet This Boy

With the help of Biwako and her advice, Kabuto was doing much better. Orochi was able to start helping a few hours at the lab. And the clinic was doing better. Biwako even suggested a few medical-nin to make a team at the clinic. One who had the potential to help with the lab and fertilization side. Which helped Nade.

I also got her to set up a way for her and Dai to help each other out. More like a babysitting schedule. But one that was beneficial to them both.

Raiya was helpful with Kakashi and Anko taking them two days a week for training. He really was an excellent sensei. And Kakashi talked non stop about his one student, Minato Namikaze. Kakashi seemed to admire the teen. Which helped Jiraiya keep them in line during training. I also suggested never bringing out his famous notebook around my two children if he wanted them to listen to anything he said.

Sakumo went back to regular missions. He had not mentioned any issues with team partners...but Orochi did eventually ask.

"Is..are there any issues with Sensei finding team members for your missions?"

"There have been a few hold outs, but for the most part, all the other Jonin seem to understand I am a happily married family man who wants nothing to do with them that way. So it's going ok."

"Thank Kami."

Kabuto was about to hit four months old or he was 17 weeks old. Things were falling into place.

The formula that Biwako suggested worked so well. Orochi approached the old lady who made it about patent rights. He wanted to analyze it and recreate for mass production. Besides buying the rights he wanted to give her 49% of any profit made. She agreed and actually gave him her recipe. He played with it only slightly adding a few key ingredients. And then asked mothers from the clinic to do a trial run. Note any issues or possible side effects. He tried the new formula on Kabuto also. After a successful trial. They were looking for a company to either sell outright to or go into business with.

He had also developed the mommy hands-free sling. Which he was still playing with the design, but the same company interested in the formula was asking about the sling rights too.

And it was amazing to carry Kabuto around while working and still being able to use his hands.

It was in one of these situations that Danzo Shimura found him in the lab.

"Hello, Orochimaru-san."

"It's actually Doragon-Hatake-san, sir. And you are?"

"Excuse me. I'm Shimura Danzo . I am Elder on the counsel and run the Root Anbu. We have been put in charge of the break-in and theft of your research lab and files. We have been unable to find any leads. But was wondering if I could discuss a few things if you have time?"

"I was just going to stop to feed my son. So if you don't mind then we can talk."

Orochi felt uneasy with this man. But he also wanted the culprits found. Danzo was eyeing Kabuto with interest. This set off his dragon. He actually could feel her growling. So he stayed alert.

"This is your's and Hatake's son?"

"Sakumo and I are married, sir, so it's Hatake-Doragon-san. But yes, why?"

"Sorry. Such a mouthful and I am traditional. If I may be blunt. Are you not a man? How do two men (and he hid his disgust, but not well enough) have a child?"

"I am sorry, sir, but what is the relevance to this case?"

"We believe the perpetrators. May have been after something else along with your research. Is it true you grew this child in a tank?"
