"Hey Tae, you okay?"

The unsettling feelings had been there in their adobe for quite some time as the love birds knew they had to face their demons as well as the blow to their relationship. After coming out, they didn't realize how judgemental their whole circle was going to turn out.

Many of their friends were grossed out after they found out about their relationship. It didn't affect them that much but when it came to their family, they were disheartened to learn how much of a homophobic shit Jungkook's family was.

And knowing them, they could go to any extent to break the couple apart. It didn't matter if their son would get hurt at the end. Taehyung considered breaking up many times but Jungkook salvaged it every time. The name engraved in his heart couldn't be removed even if he'd to endure all the upcoming pain.

Sensing another worry vibe coming, Taehyung gently caressed Jungkook's hand, with an angelic smile tugging his lips upward.

God, ain't his lips just amazing. Jungkook mused to himself.

"I'm fine, stop worrying about me and finish this up. We've a long way to go."

When he said the last part, Taehyung felt a heartache — a dull heartache, as if something important and valuable had been ripped off of his grasp.

"We won't take that much time. We'll have a quick dinner, a small talk and leave the place. We won't face them today. My baby tiger doesn't deserve such pressure."

"If you want, we can be there for a bit more. I am sure you'll love to catch up with your family members."

"You're important and I won't tolerate any kind of entertainment while you're anxious and scrutinized by some random assholes."

"Aww, don't you love me?" Taehyung teased.

"Yes, I love you, more than anything. Even if death comes our way, I won't leave you."

"I do hope we don't have to take that route. Let's live a long life." Taehyung smiled sadly.

"Yes, together." Jungkook smiled back.
