The man left, and Lux got up off of me. His face went red as he put his shirt back on, I turned my back to him. My checks burned, but I ignored it keeping my composure. We both had a silent agreement not to speak of what just happened. 

'Why is it that every time he kisses me, it so we don't get caught. I know I'm a Jedi but... i deserve more than that...'

'But I mean the audacity, he could of at least asked!'

He awkwardly cleared his throat signaling for to turn around. I turned to look as he scratches the back of his head, and looked down face red.

"What's wrong Lux, not use to getting on top of a girl without asking."  I joked to embarrass him more, and ease the tension a bit.

He opened and closed his mouth, like a fish out of water trying to find his words then he looked down.

As if he flipped a switch in his mind, he looked up at me a completely different person then the one I knew.

He smirked, and gave a small laugh then spoke, "maybe you're just not used to being touched by a man." His eyes with clouded with a emotion I did not know.

I was took back and disgusted by what he said. A part of me was also embarrassed and felt be littled, but I pushed it down, into my box of emotions I don't let out.

I looked at him up in down, taking in the new part of Lux that I've never seen. I scoffed and gave him a look of disgust and disappointment, "I don't know who you are, but never speak to me like I'm a object."

With that I walked to the door purposefully bumping into his shoulder hard to make sure it hurt. He was unfazed by it, and continued to put his hand on my bare back, trying to guide me out the door.

It made me mad that he was trying to lead me around like some doll, like he didn't hear a word that I just said. Before he could open the door, I took the arm that was holding my back, and twist that arm back.

His eyes widen in shock and he screamed out in pain, "What the hell Tano! If you don't want to get caught I say you calm the fuck down right now!" He yelled, but not loud enough for anyone to hear.

I felt embarrassed by my lash out, so I let go off his hand and returned my blank face, and lifeless composure.

"Now we are going to walk out that door pretend like nothing happened, and we will finish our talk later."
And with that we walked out of the door back to the party.

The walls were filled with cheap gold that screamed fake royalty, once we got back to the main party everyone was gathered around James as he was about to make his speech.

"Ahh Lux you're here just in time." 

We some how made our way to the middle of the circle, as I kept my eyes down.  James looked at us satisfied that we were there, then smiled at began to talk.   

He held his arms out, with a glass in one hand. 

"My friends thank you for attending, it is a honor to have you all here.  I am so humbled by my new position..."

I rolled my eyes as he went on a rant of his success.  His ego was too big to fit in this room, I couldn't tell who was the biggest idiot in the was.  Him or the idiot who looks up to him.  

"-I am so happy to tell you I am taking the lead on a new project." He said after he got done bragging. 

"This new weapon will end this terrible war, and the corruption that is the Republic, and their pitiful Jedi."  The crowd burst with claps and cheers, I bit the inside of my cheek trying to stay silent. 

"and I would like to personally ask Senator Bonteri to stay as a guest, and help me with this new project."
