Biting on his lower lip as he looked down on his phone checking the time, Jungkook can't help but to be uncomfortable that after two fucking hours, his "date" haven't arrived yet. For two hours straight, Jungkook had been awkwardly playing a stupid game in his phone in order to avoid all the judging and pity glances being shot at him by everyone inside the restaturant.

Well who wouldn't pity him- the poor boy had been waiting for hours and has been asked thrice by the waitress what he'll order but the boy keep on saying to ask him later because he's obviously waiting for someone.

Another hour has passed yet this "Seojung" haven't even showed his shadow in here. Cursing under his breath, he knew better than to agree with Jimin's- his best friend- stupid idea of setting him up on a blind date with a random guy he saw online.

Why didn't set this blind date to himself in the first place? Why him? Why bother him? Why bother Jeon Jungkook?

Oh, right.

He's already dating the oh-so-famous Min Yoongi.

That's why, just like what a "good" best friend he was, according to Jimin, he'd help the younger with his love life.

Well, looks like it didn't turn out well then.

He just made a fool of himself.

Sighing, Jungkook decided that this was enough, the guy wouldn't show up anyways so its time for him to leave. But before he can leave, someone suddenly sat across him and smiled at him cheekily.

Raising an eyebrow in confusion, he certainly knows that this wasn't the guy he's going to meet since Jimin already sent him a picture of Seojung.

He awkwardly glances at the guy in front of him and waited till the guy to speak.

"Hey, sorry for making you wait so long. So what do you want to eat? Don't worry, it's my treat." The guy blurted out as he smiles at him once again.

Confused, Jungkook asked "W-wha-"

He was cutted off when the guy suddenly whispered, "Just play along, the person who's making you wait so long is a dick and I don't want you to look like an idiot here."

Blinking his eyes in surprised, Jungkook can't help himself but to be touched at the stranger's efforts. Smiling, he nodded and called for the waitress to take their orders. Once she is gone, Jungkook turned to looked at the guy and smiled at him sincerely. "Hey, seriously thanks. I don't know how to thank you but really... Thanks, that's very kind of you."

"Nah," the guy chuckled. "No need to thank me, I just can't let a cute guy like you alone because his date dumped him, right? And you know what? Poor him because for this night, I'll be your date. Oh and my names Kim Taehyung, it's nice to meet you...?"

"J-Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook. Really, thank you, Taehyung." Jungkook blushed at the other's words and tried to hid his self on the menu, making Taehyung cooed at his cuteness.

And then they spent the whole night getting to know each other, exchanging numbers before parting ways, but also scheduled another date next saturday.

Well, Jimin's blind date plan may not work but at least he met someone like Kim Taehyung in his life. Maybe, just maybe, Jungkook's lonely and dull life will start to brighten and be filled with colours in the next few days.

And Jungkook wouldn't deny that he's actually looking forward to it.
