[ Chapter 35 : Journal ]

" Four seals had been forged centuries ago by our ancestors that has passed it down for generations, two of them is with me, one is somewhere out there " I said.

" What about the other one? " Katelyn asked.

" I have a theory on where it is " I said.

" Where? " Dante asked.

" I'm not sure if you guys like the answer, especially you " I turn to Laurence.

" You know who has it? " Travis asked.

" What do you mean?, I can't touch it " Laurence said, I sigh.

" I'm not going to say his name, I also don't know what he's going to do with it but the ring is still in the box, he won't be able to open it without my blood " I said.

" He can cut you easily " Nicole said.

" Not really, I have to– " I stop myself and look around the room.

" What? " Courtney asked.

" Paranoia " I said and look around at every single window and door.

" Just tell us " Laurence place his hand on my shoulder, I flinched.

" Burn the incense " I said.

" The hearing block herbs? " Garroth asked, I nodded.

" Just do it " I said.

Garroth put some herbs in the small container and light a match, he put the match inside as the herb starts burning, the sweet smell diffuse into the air and I feel relieved.

" I have to give my blood willingly or the box won't open " I said.

" Well, that's a relief " Dante said, we all look at him in confusion.

" What?, At least if someone takes your blood they won't be able to open the box " he said.

" Unless they kill me " I said.

" Well that's anticlimactic " Kc said.

" It's complicated " I said.

" I found it! " The door swings open and we all turn to see Lucinda with a thick book.

We all look at her in confusion.

" I did the research you asked me to with Emily " Lucinda said.

" Shut the door " I said, she close the door and approach.

" It's called the eternal seal " she place the book on the table.

" Eternal seal? " I asked, she nodded and I look down at the page to see four seal rings attach together.

" It's name that is given by the time it was forged centuries ago by a dragon's breath, the four brothers called it the eternal seal because it holds powerful magic " she said.

" Is that why it burned me? " Laurence asked.

" I don't think so because the eternal seal has always been inactive ever since it was separated " she said.

" The question is, why was it separated in the first place " Garroth said.

" The book says that one brother of the four was too overwhelmed by the great power that the ring holds, he was arrogant and selfish then was driven to dark magic, so to gain more power, he stole the three rings and killed his brothers " she said.

" My mother never told me this part of the story " I said.

" Because it was never told to anyone, Emily and I actually found this book buried deep in the library " Lucinda said.

" Hold on, this is not just a book " Dante close it.

He turns the book to the back of it then open it to see a signature.

" A journal " Courtney said.

" Who's journal is it? " Nicole asked.

" it's unreadable " Travis squinted his eyes on the writing.

" It's in a different language " Katelyn said.

" This is getting interesting " Eddie said.

" We're talking about four rings that can do incredible things and now we have two of it in Y/n's possession " Aphmau said.

I take out the two seal that is connected side by side like a magnet.

" I might be just leading us into more danger, I think it's the best if I do this alone " I said.

" Absolutely not! " Laurence said.

" I can get you guys killed " I said.

" You can get yourself killed as well " Nicole said.

" My father gave this ring to me for a reason " I step away from the circle around the table.

" Y/n, your not going alone, that's suicide " Lucinda said.

" See, even the young one is smart " Eddie said.

" Don't call me young "

" Y/n, we can do this together " Laurence takes me hand.

I sighed.

" Give me a reason why I shouldn't go alone " I said.

" Your obviously wanting a death wish before you can finish the task " Nicole said.

I look away.

" Please? " Laurence asked, I nodded.

" Okay, when will we set out? " I asked.

" In three days, we still have a lot of things to prepare " Katelyn said.

" I'll make some arrangements " Aphmau said.

Let's hope we all survive.

It's 11:13 pm, I have school tomorrow ;)
