Y/n's pov.   

" She'll live " Hayden said after I treated Lucinda's wound while she sleeps peacefully and her head lying on Gene's lap.

" How would you know? " I asked.

" I lived and so will she " he said.

" Stupidest thing I have ever heard " Laurence said.

" And an idiotic thing to say " Mariko said.

" What are you doing here? " Eddie asked.

" What do you think? " Hayden asked.

He then spits out blood to the ground on his left, I see a small puddle of blood, seems like he already spit it out multiple times.

" The question is, what got you?, Cause that doesn't look like a wound from the phantom " I said.

" Guys, seriously, shrug it off " Gene said.

" Shrug it off? " Laurence turns to Gene, I grab his wrist.

" We know he's not going to tell us and who knows what he's up to, we're all exhausted, save your breath on someone worth it cause he's not " Gene said and look back down at Lucinda.

" Why save a girl who can't do her witch spells correctly? " Hayden asked.

" She's 19 " Eddie said.

" How would you know she's bad at her spells? " Mariko asked.

" I've watched you guys for a while now " Hayden smirks.

" I'm going to get some water, I saw a waterfall nearby, I'll be back shortly " I stood up and grab my sword.

" Your not going with her, son? " Hayden asked.

" She can protect herself " Laurence said as I pick up my empty water bottle.

I look outside and see the phantoms are nowhere in sight, I step out of the forcefield and take a walk down the path, it was just a few steps down and I turn to the right and see a small waterfall streaming down, I cup the water with my hand and see it's clean.

I take off the lid on my bottle and fill it in, after it was full, I close it and turn back around and make my way up to the cave. I take a deep breath and exhale when I hear the high pitch screech from a phantom, I look up and see three of the phantom circling up on the sky.

" Fuck you phantoms " I said and start running.

I hear their huge winds flapping behind me, I see the forcefield and I leap, rolling on the ground, I land on my back.

" Ow " I squeaked.

" You good? " I hear Laurence chuckled.

I sit up and nodded, standing up from the ground, I walk up to them and look behind me to see Hayden leaning against the rock wall asleep.

" I doubt that " I said and sit down next to Laurence.

" Me too " he said.

I see my ring on Hayden's finger as I clench my hands into fist, I look at the others and their asleep. Lucinda and Gene looks adorable.

" Here " Laurence puts up a berry in front of me.

" Berries? " I smile.

He put it in my mouth and I lean on him as he wrap his arms around me, I hug him and hear his heartbeat on my left ear.

" By tomorrow midday, we'll arrive on the top of the mountain at the portal, we don't know what will happen if we enter and meet the fourth brother " he said.
