"(Y/n)-chan?"

"I missed you!" I screamed as I gave him a bone crushing hug. The players eyes widened as the words slipped between my lips.

"You know each other?"A silver haired boy spoke out. "Yeah we're childhood friends " I said.

Some players went up to Asahi asking him question about his relation to me. "G-guys calm down I'll explain everything." The poor boy was frightened as he stood behind me trying to hide.

"Asahi, get away you wimp." I tried to pry him off only to hold onto my shoulder tighter.

The conversation ended quickly, with lunch coming to an end. We all went our separate ways and headed back to class.

There was some time before class so I decided to explore the school. As I turned the corner I ran into someone. "Watch out." I looked up and saw a very tall boy. "Come again asshole?" He narrowed his eyes at me. "Oh sorry I thought you were a child" I scoffed "that's okay, makes me feel better to know that tall people die quicker than short people, I can live peacefully knowing your insult won't matter."
He mumbled out a few words and left with his friend snickering behind him.

The final bell rang as you walked out of class you were stopped by girl who you guessed was from another class.

"Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?" She asked "yes that's me, what do you need?" She then bowed down. "Please join the volleyball club!" She yelled which caught the attention of a few people. In panic of attracting trouble, you immediately agreed which you soon regretted.

As you walked to the gym you were thinking of different ways to decline their offer to join the team.

The two of you made it to the gym, upon entering she called out to her coach. "Ah you must be (Y/n), hopefully you remember me." A look of confusion took over as your began to process what the coach had said.

That's when you finally remembered. She was your old coach back when you played volleyball in Middle school, she had left which disappointed you.

"Coach Rina!" You jumped up as you hugged her tightly. "Welcome back girly." She smiled at you as you wiped your imaginary tears. "You know I can't play anymore." You smiled sadly "no you just don't want to, your afraid" she was right you were scared, the guilt you had the burden of losing everyone you had was all you ever thought about.

"Come on (l/n)-senpai we really want you."
They all begged. "Alright I'll try." They all cheered. "First we introduce ourselves."
A taller female said.

"I'm Himita Rokuta, I'm vice captain, please take care of us." She had a soft voice, but sounded very mature considering she had a soft nature to her.

Soon introduction we're gonna and the girls offered you a spot to play in with their practice. You had changed your clothes and walked over to the coach. "We're going to have a joint practice with the boys team." The coach said, the team packed up their stuff and headed out towards the boys gym.

You being quite the trouble maker, you ran up to the door and kicked it open scaring the boys inside. Immediately you ran and jumped onto Asahi back making him fall over.

You sat back up and squatted down, playfully patted his back. "Miss me?" You laughed at him as he sighed at your childish behavior.

"(Y/n)-san please refrain from hurting other players before a game." Rokuta said as she made her way towards you. "Are you okay Azumane-san?" She asked as her tone seemed to change a bit. He nodded and blushed and her arm touched his.

It's was currently a 3v3 with Daichi, Sugawara and Fujisawa from the girls team. They played against two thirds years and first year  from the boys.

After a while into the game you decided to sit down. As you were about to sit down a arm pushed you out the way.

"H-hey!" You yelled, as you were looking up the two of you gasped. "You" the both of you said at the same time. "Lookie here, it's chibi-chan did ya miss me?" He sneered as this was the second time bumping into him. "Oh your still alive?" He mockingly laughed as he got up and walked away.

You sat down next to two girls who seemed like the managers. They quickly introduce themselves as you did the same.

During the game you caught yourself looking at Daichi. The way he would slightly lift his shirt to wipe his sweat, and his ab- I mentally sighed as I tried to hide my blush by looking down.

Soon enough the match ended as it was now your turn to play.
