Chapter 1

"Hurry," snapped the auburn-haired girl.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm looking for it," whispered the raven-haired girl

"I swear it was just he- Ah ha, I found it!" the raven cheered

"Finally, Kora, you to so long." the auburn scolded the raven name Kora

"Yeah, yeah, sorry Sammy," whined Kora

Sammy blushed and looked aways, with a hmp. Kora grabbed Sammy's wrist and dragged her to her family bakery.

"Hi Sweetie, oh, hi Sammy." Kora's dad said

"Hi, Mr Smith," Sammy respond

"Pst, c'mon, I wanna read this." Kora whisper-shouted

Sammy huffed and waddles over to Kora.

Day 1

We found a place to stay.

Sammy huffed, and trotted away, but stopped because Kora grabbed her wrist.

"What?" Sammy snapped

"Stayy," Kora whined

Sammy rolled her eyes and said fine.

Day 2

Our Leader has built some sort of contraption, not sure what it is, I'll ask her later.

"Huh, what contraption," Sammy mumbled to herself

Day 3

Turns out it has something to do with farming,

Farming...

Sounds fun

"Farming, does he mean the tree farm?" Kora asked.

"Probably, you idiot," Sammy said

Sammy looked outside the bakery and turned back to Kora.

" I've got to go, it's getting dark, my mom wants me to be back early," Sammy said, as she put her hands behind her head and walked off.

Despite being is different ranks they were the best of friends, Sammy being born into a higher rank, and Kora in a medium rank. Sammy was anything but snobby, to Kora she was caring. All Kora friends despised Sammy, saying she was snobby, a brat, and selfish. Kora would get mad and walk away.

Kora snapped out of her daze and yelled out for Sammy.

"Wait, Sam, whos going to keep the book?" Kora yelled

Sammy stopped and put her finger to her mouth, and hummed, then pointed to Kora and smiled. Sammy ran off to her house. Kora smiled and walked back to help her dad.
