My Brother's Best Friend

Y/n's POV

I woke up in bed and I figured jabez must've carried me to bed after I fell asleep. I went to the bathroom to do my morning routine. As I was putting blush on I felt a presence and just broke down crying. I fell to the floor and just sat there curled up crying.

Jabez's POV

I woke up to the sound of crying and sniffling. It was coming from the bathroom. I went to the bathroom door and lightly knocked.

Jabez: Babe what's wrong?

She didn't answer.

I turned the knob and opened the door. Y/n was on the floor crying in a little ball. I immediately went over and sat with her.

Jabez: Mamas what's wrong?

Y/n: I- I felt a presence and I know it was Jazmine, I just know. I miss her so much Jabez, I miss her.

I wiped her tears and cupped her face with my hands.

Jabez: I know you do, but just know I'll always be here for you and Jazmine is still here with you. She's always going to be watching from above.

Y/n: Thx baby.

Jabez: Of course my love.

I picked her up and sat her on the sink.

Jabez: You wanna just stay home and chill.

Y/n: Yea I'd like that.

I kissed her on the lips and left to go get popcorn, candy, snacks, drinks, etc.

Y/n's POV

After Jabez left I put some comfortable clothes on. Since my makeup was already ruined I just took it off because I wasn't going anywhere.

Me and jabez decided to match today. I put my hair in a messy bun.

Jabez came back with the snacks and stuff. I was still picking a movie and then I found one.

Y/n: How about Bird Box?

Jabez: That's fine.

He set the snacks on the bed and went to turn the lights off. I grabbed the remote to the LED lights and turned them on. I put on blue.

We started the movie and ate our snacks and popcorn.

I couldn't even focus on the movie. All I kept thinking about was Jazmine.

After the movie was over Jabez picked one this time. He put on Finding Dory.

Y/n: Um I'm gonna go get some ice cream.
