"Damn it" Tom said hitting the wheel.
Tom was driving, trying to catch these high schoolers who were selling guns around town and getting involved with the local gang. We were chasing them in a wooded area which allowed them to escape.

"I don't want to go either but it's our job" he said still hugging me.
"Would you stop by my house, I should really take a shower and maybe get some new clothes to hide these" I said referring to the bruises.
"He said we should come anytime tonight, he didn't specify when" I said smirking at Tommy.

I pulled him into the bedroom and then into the shower.

"I love you too" I said and we both began to undress and hopped in the shower.
