Downtown Love (18+)

POV: Milah Renee

He opened the door for me like the gentleman he was. I locked my apartment door then we headed back to his car. He also opened the car door to his Tesla for me.

"You're playing this boyfriend role a little too well my guy."

"Who said I was acting." He winked at me then closed my door. He hopped in his side of the car then pulled out of the parking lot. I pulled down the flap above me so I could use the mirror. I examined my face for a second to realize I forgot to apply lip gloss. I dug through my bag and then applied some on my full brown lips. When I was going to put my lip gloss away I had found the switchblade that Polo had given me years back.

"You know you're a different person from back then. You used to be like daddy material and now your just eh. I wouldn't think you were a millionaire's son." He smirked and slicked his hair back with his hand.

"So, basically your saying I'm daddy material.. huh" the tingles in my face were racing through.

"W-well I- you know what I meant. It doesn't matter anyway your too soft to be daddy material. He looked down and chucked a bit.

"But this stroke game ain't soft. Don't believe me? Take a test drive and find out."

I pulled my legs closer together to suppress the thumping coming from downtown. His words weren't supposed to have so much of an effect on me.

"You kinda quiet. If you don't like that test drive maybe I can show you with this tongue do."

"Sir! Focus on the road!"

" I'd rather focus on you and your beauty that never ceases to amaze me." In between my thick thighs were starting to get hot. I don't know if it's the dress or the comments but it was getting hot.

"Can we hop off this topic? You're supposed to answer like a normal human being." I tried looking irritated but in reality, I really wouldn't mind if he kept going. His voice could single handly make motion in this ocean.

"Ok, I'll answer as a boring person would, but my other response was way more interesting. Ok so here's the deal I'm still badass... it's just that I have to hide it. I have more expected of me since I am of age to take over my parent's business. Before, I would live my life the way I please, but now I'm living it the stereotypical rich boy way. In a sense the way my parents want me to live. That's why hanging out with you is so therapeutic because you don't see me as what everyone else see's me as. You see me as a human being with flaws, you see me as the badass dude who saved you years ago, you see me for me, you remind me of a time when I was happy."

I turned his head towards me then put my hand on his cheek and looked at him in the eyes. Our eyes met as the red light flashes upon our skin.

"You'll always be a human being don't feel like you have to change yourself for others. You shouldn't let other's opinions take hold of your life. You aren't your parents Polo you won't run the company like they did because I know you'll do it better. Show everyone that appearance and the amount of professionalism don't correlate. I know oh too well what it like first handly to be outcasted because of appearance. It's just another day in the real world, but once you learn how to work your way through it'll be worthwhile."

Polo's lingered around my facial features but mainly on my lips. He leaned into me and was ready to land a kiss on my lips, but the light turned green. He started driving, but later slipped his hand to intertwine with mine. The rest of the car ride to his house we talked about his childhood and how much he loved his parents, but sometimes they get to wrapped up in what they want instead of slowing down for a minute and realizing what he wants. After a little while more we arrived at their modern mansion. My jaw dropped and my stomach started to get queazy on me. Polo gripped my hand a little tighter.
