~Third person POV~

John Laurens was known for cheating on every girl he dates.

That doesn't stop them from swooning over him.

Unfortunately, John was....cheating more than usual. Breaking hearts left and right. He was determined to pick through all the girls by the end of the school year.

Little did he know he was going to meet his match.

~John's POV~

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?" My girlfriend, Angelica Schuyler, screamed at me.

Typical Thursday for me.

I tugged on my curly-hair in it's usual ponytail. "Babe, you know that's kinda what I do—"

Angelica wiped the tears sneaking out of her eyes, smudging her black mascara. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted you—all you do is cheat and break hearts! I don't know what to say..."

I brushed the guilt I felt aside like I always do and hastily responded with, "Well, I do: I'm breaking up with you."

Angelica stopped sobbing and looked at me with wide eyes. "You're breaking up with me?"

I awkwardly looked away and stuffed my hands in my varsity jacket's pockets. "That's the plan."

"Ugh!" Angelica groaned. "Well too bad, John: I'm breaking up with you!"

Sighing, I nodded and said, "Whatever."

Now with Angelica out of the way, it was time to go on to my next soon-to-be-girlfriend:

Y/n.

I prowled the halls, searching for the familiar h/c. I didn't know much about her—only she had never dated before and is super sassy.

I like a girl with spice.

Only, it makes it harder to cheat on them because I could actually end up liking them!

After some searching, I noticed y/n in the sea of students. I looked in a nearby window to make sure I look good. After doing a slight touch-up to my hair, I smoothly strutted up to her.

I leaned against the neighboring locker and cooly said, "Heya, cutie."

She barely looked up as she flipped a page of the book she was holding. "Do I know you?" She sharply asked.

I stumbled for a second, but I quickly rebounded and replied, "Maybe if you stop nerding-out on that book your holding, you would know."

She rolled her eyes and stared me down. I have to admit, I felt intimidated by her. "Maybe if you stop cheating on all of you're girlfriends you actually could become a decent person."

I love a challenge.

I flipped my hair over my shoulder and questioned, "Well, do you want to help me become a decent person?"

Y/n raised an eyebrow asked with disbelief, "Wait, you're not asking me out, right?"

I smirked and snaked an arm around her shoulders. "I know: it's pretty crazy. Just don't pass out, okay?"

But y/n did something I never expected.

She pushed my arm off her and wrinkled her perfect nose in disgust. "You actually think I would date you? That's a laugh! I would die before I would ever become your little toy to cheat on for fun." She gave me a slight wave and angrily said, "Bye, jerk."
