[Mugman/Genderfluid Reader]
A small shift on the other side of the bed caused you to slowly crack open your eyes, unused to the harsh obscurity of the night surrounding the bed you rested in.
It took a few, abbreviated moments for your (color) orbs to accommodate, but once they did you saw a familiar dampened yellow of a petal at the side of your bed, accompanied by some quiet whimpers and non-verbal pleads. "Hm? What is it, Daisy?" You immediately identified the color and the whimpers as the obnoxiously long-named daisy that had grown quite fond, in addition to the he he was awfully attached to you.
The creases in the sheets marked the obvious fact he was gripping them rather tightly, unrestful of your response.
A small trace of a sleepy smile grew on your lips as you gently reached over to your dreaming partner, his light intakes of air being able to be heard over the quiet and near-silent whining as you tried by lightly disturbing him and tugging on the sleeve of his blue pajamas. "Mugs. Mugs." Receiving no answer or any sign of movement from the cup, you pressed yourself into his warm body, burying your head into his arm, once again reduplicating your words. "Mugs, wake up." "Wha...what's going on?" He stuttered sluggishly, his free hand returning his head to his body to he could properly witness the reason or the sudden awakening.
You pointed to the restless daisy who was shyly observing you from the side of the bed. "Can he stay with us? I think he's lonely." Mugman rubbed his eyes and stifled a yawn before turning to peer at the desperate flower. "Oh alright." He shifted a bit farther away from you after you released his arm, making room for Daisy, whom you could tell was very grateful for your approval to sleep. His behavior was most likely because of the fact he'd usually sleep among his other siblings, sharing warmth and comfort. Soon enough, the happy floweret was snuggled against you, drifting off to sleep almost as soon as he laid down. A small chuckle rumbled from you as Daisy fell back into peace and comfort.
Surprisingly, your arm was brushed by Mugman's hand as he pulled you a little bit closer, supporting your head against his chest. This all felt so warm and comfortable, and sweet as well as a bit familiar. You didn't know what made it enter into your mind, but you welcomed it. You, and Mugs with a small child, an even mixture of both your looks and personalities, sleeping together and holding each other close. The thought brought some level of warmth to your cheeks, as well as a smile.
You took Mug's hand into your own and planted a sweet peck on his fingers. It was a simple gesture indeed, but one with a lot of love behind its cause. Despite it being dark, you could already sense the blue tinge, an odd variation of blush on his cheeks.
"I wouldn't mind it..."
"Wouldn't mind what?"
"Becoming a parent with you..."
~Author's Note~
Okay, so this chapter is short, but I simply just wrote it because I was feeling a bit sad and needed some fluff in my life. This cheered me up a bit and I sincerely hope it will brighten the day of someone feeling a bit down ;)
