( 3 days have passed since Yui ran off. Every time Shiro goes by to check on her she gets no answer. Same with Kyoko when she goes to check on Kiko. Toshima notices their efforts and decides to investigate and look deeper into it )

(*scene 1*)

Toshima ( concerned ) - hey you guys okay

( Shiro and Kyoko don't reply. )

Toshima ( thinking to herself ) - I've never seen them so down before. Hm I wonder what's bothering them ..

Kyoko ( looks up at Toshima ) - hey..can I ask you a question ?

Toshima - huh oh yea sure go ahead

Kyoko - ..is it weird that I worry about a person I know nothing about ..like ..it's eating me alive knowing that she won't let me help..

( Toshima kneels and talks to Kyoko )- well sometimes you just have to let people experience life for themselves.

( Shiro turns her head to listen )

Toshima - it's kinda like shopping .. You never know what your going to find unless you go through every store ..even the bad ones. ( stands up ) well I'm going out .

Shiro - where ?

Toshima - just ..out ( Toshima grabs her jacket and leaves. Closer the door behind her. )

Kyoko - hm I wonder where she's going

Shiro - who knows

( Toshima makes her way outside. She walks 3 blocks and goes to Yui's apartment building )

Toshima - I probably should've asked Shiro where the exact building was but she's is the only one with a cracked window so I'm pretty sure this is it

( Toshima enters the building. )

Toshima - *sigh* I really shoulda asked Shiro oh well guess I'm going door to door

( Toshima knocks on the first door. An elderly man opens the door )

Elderly man - well hello there young lady . What can I do for Ya ?

Toshima - sorry to disturb you but I'm looking for a little girl named Yui . Yui Kirigaiya .,

Elderly man - I'm sorry but as long as I've lived here I've never heard of a Yui

Toshima -she's really short . She has black hair in two pig tails ! They're
long !

Elderly man - no I'm sorry never seen or heard of her

Toshima ( disappointed ) - *sigh* okay . Thank you for time .

Elderly man - however there is a young boy on the 3rd floor named Akira. He might know of her. They're around the same age

Toshima ( excited ) - Really !? Do you know the apartment number !!

Elderly man - I believe it's 32

Toshima ( happy ) - oh think you so much !

( Toshima runs up to the third floor and knocks on Akira's door . Akira comes and opens the door )

Toshima ( panting ) - are you * pant * Akira ?

Akira ( confused ) - uh yea why ?

(Toshima catches her breathe) - Yui ..what can you tell me about Yui .

Akira ( defensive ) - why . What do you want with her ?

Toshima - I'm a friend of her's and I haven't heard from her in 3 days and I'm worried I just want to know why.
