"Kat!!! I'm waiting!" I mocked. Kat quickly grabbed the rest of her books and scurried out of the classroom. She shot me a dirty look, and I laughed. "It took you like, half an hour just to get your stuff organized!" We walked out of the school grounds, and onto the sidewalk. "Well, sometimes you need to be patient." Kat tried to sound angry, but I could see a grin on her face. I chuckled. It was always funny when Kat got angry, even when it was supposed to be serious. Her facial expressions are priceless, too. "So, how's your Socials project going?" I asked, hugging my binder. "Ugh, I guess it's going fine. I really don't like doing things like these." I nodded in understanding, since I hated doing it as much as her. "Who are you with?" She sighed, as we went near a quiet neighbourhood. "Vic DePhillipi. I don't like him AT ALL." Ah, Vic. I remember him. He said he liked Kat, which he probably did, but then Amber Whitmire has to ruin it all. Amber didn't even treat people like they were human. She was never rude to me, but I hated it when Kat was picked on by her. I don't dislike Vic, I just think he's hanging out with the wrong people. I feel really bad for him. I offered to hang out with him once, but he told me Amber said to meet him at the cafeteria, so he couldn't. It was upsetting, but at least I had Kat. "So, have you settled in your new house?" Kat smiled, nodding. Kat would never let me in the house for some odd reason. People say it's being haunted by four ghosts, but honestly, I'm not sure about it. Oh, well. "Hey, we turn here." Kat said, and I nodded.

We turned into the neighbourhood, which seemed to be quiet, until I heard a engine speeding from the distance. "Do you hear that?" I whispered, and Kat nodded. Suddenly, a red car sped at us, almost as fast as the light. My eyes widened, realizing it was about to hit Kat. "KAT, WATCH OUT!!" I jumped in front, and the car slammed into me so hard that I flew across the street, and smashed on the hard, concrete road. My hearing started to fade, and so did my vision. "Y/N!" I faintly heard Kat yell. I knew I was going to die. There was too much blood loss, too much damage to my head. I suddenly grew limp, as I grunted, before I closed my eyes, and my heart stopped as I embraced the darkness.
