Chapter 22: Same Old Demon

I finally leave the ink. I'm in my throne room, the throne room Henry- NO! The wanna-be-Ink-Demon took from me when he broke that reel! Sending me into the ink!

I look around the room. Eventually, I find her, she's made out of that golden-ink stuff that Henry is able to make(I still have no idea how he can do that)
She has wings. Angel wings, her long hair is in a ponytail, she's looking at me.

I have to admit, Henry got lucky with his pick. I immediately shake my head and limp over to her, most would think I'm unable to see due to the ink covering my face, how wrong that are.

"Do you have a plan? Or did you not think that far ahead?" I ask her.

"We need to get Joey Drew out of his head."

That explains it, if that liar is in his head controlling him, forcing him to do this, then I am most certainly last in line to murder him, Linda being first, then possibly Henry.

I walk over to the held-together-by-ink reel, I pick it up off the throne and examine it

Something tells me that's not going to work.

I look over to Linda. "The statues hold his memories, would smashing every single one of them work?"

She shakes her head. "No, he has Henry convinced that the only way to save them is by killing the--"

"The empty shells that call themselves rebels." I cut her off, even if that corrupted version of Alice Angel(who I sometimes call Malice), is with them, Henry wouldn't willingly try to kill them.

I really don't want to go find them.

"Do you have a name?"

I look at her, confused. "Of course I do! I'm the Ink Demon!"

"Not anymore, Henry kind of took that title from you."

I growl in annoyance, she's right there, and I most certainly am not Bendy the Dancing Demon.

"If you're last name is Emily, why is Henry's last name Stein?"

She chuckles, I look at her, tilting my head in confusion.

"Stein is his middle name, his last name is Emily, I get why you are confused, though."

So. . . . His name is Henry Stein Emily, animator of Joey Drew Studios (originally SillyVision), co-owner of a pizzeria, unknowignly helped the person who killed his children kill more children, tried to kill himself, tried to fix the mess he helped create, only to get trapped in a time loop for over fifteen years while his daughter and several other children are suffering, he managed to free all the trapped employees of Joey Drew Studios, just to become a liar's puppet. . .

He had no idea what happened here before he got trapped.

I roar in annoyance and punch the wall, making a massive fist-sized hole with several cracks in it.

It was NEVER his fault! It was ALL JOEY'S!

After several minutes I look over to Linda, she is looking at me calmly and patiently. . . My statement still stands, Henry definitely got lucky in the girl department, but failed in the friend department.

"I can't go by Bendy, or by the Ink Demon, what can I go by?"

"Ink?" Linda suggests, I chuckle at that.

"Ink Stein? Sure, we'll go with that."

Pov: Bendy

We are currently in one of the houses, it's a small house, a table in the middle of the room, and a bed in the corner. . . That's it.
And by 'we' I mean Norman, Wally and I. (or as I jokingly call ourselves 'The Three Thirdwheels")

Wally and I are currently trying to fix Norman's head as well as we can

"Hold still!" Wally complains.

"I'm trying!" Norman pretty much hisses.

We are trying to wrap bandages around his head and neck to keep the projector on.

Now that I think about it, we've all taken everything extremely well. Especially the fact that Norman is nothing more than the Projectionist, and empty shell that the real Norman Polk left behind.

Along with Alice and Allison being nothing more than Alice Angels, left behind by the voice actors.
Wally and Tom being nothing more than Borises, left behind by the Janitor and GENT worker.
And Sammy just being an empty shell of ink.

While me? I don't know what I am, if I really was Henry's perfect version of Bendy the Dancing Demon, why don't I look like the original sketch?

Or is Henry still the perfect version of the character, just corrupted by the Ink Demon?

"Don't worry, we are going to get you out of here, you will save them, you will save our daughter."

Who is this we she's talking about? Is she talking about the rebels or someone else?

Something is going to happen. . . It's going to involve that failed experiment. .

That disgrace of a Bendy. The very first experiment. . .

But, as long as I have Henry under my control, I'll be fine.
