~ Chapter 6 ~

"H-Hey..."

An Ark of the Cosmos falls to the ground.

"What's that?" Tails asked.

"The cause of all my troubles! I picked it up and those stupid robots came after me!" Amy said, picking it up.

"So that's it! Those things must be after this stone!"

"I was wondering the same thing since the robots chased after us in the first place." Y/N said, bringing out her wrist where the Ark of the Cosmos is worn.

"I guess that settles it, then. The key to solving this mystery is MeteoTech!" Sonic said.

"Hey, Sonic, Y/N! We've got company!" Knuckles warned.

SCR-GP robots are rushing towards them.

"OK... Here we go!"

The group ride on their Extreme Gears and speed off.

Botanical Cave. Jet is chasing three SCR-GPs which start flying.

"Heh, too slow!"

He dives into the sky, towards the robots, and knocks one of them into a giant greenhouse.

"Rrgh, lost it!"

The robot is on the greenhouse's ground. An Ark of the Cosmos falls from its hand as it shuts down. Jet dives towards the greenhouse while Storm and Wave are entering the greenhouse through the main entrance.

"Jet!" Wave called.

Inside the greenhouse, Jet is looking for the SCR-GP and the Ark of the Cosmos. Suddenly, he hears Amy.

"Faded lovers are always drawn together, silly."

Jet looks around in surprise. He sees Team Heroes and Amy, and he ducks.

"Amy..." Sonic whined.

"OK, you got me. I was running away from those robots. I was so scared."

Amy jumps onto Sonic.

"H-hey..."

Amy drops an Ark of the cosmos falls on the ground. Jet is confused.

"What's that?" Tails asked.

"The cause of all my troubles! I picked it up, and those stupid robots came after me!" Amy said, picking it up.

Jet listens to them angrily.

"So that's it! Those things must be after this stone!"

"I was wondering the same thing since the robots chased after us in the first place." Y/N said, bringing out her wrist where the Ark of Cosmos is worn.

Jet calms down a bit and his eyes soften to see Y/N.

"Wow... She looks good..."

"I guess that settles it, then. The key to solving this mystery is MeteoTech!" Sonic said.

Now Jet is furious after hearing that from Sonic until Wave touches his shoulder. Jet looks to see Wave and Storm.

"You two!"

"I heard them too. Let's circle on ahead of them and gather information." Wave said.

Jet stands up.

"Tch, just wait Sonic the Hedgehog. You won't be calling yourself the world's fastest for long!"

He looked at Y/N again and smiled.

"We'll see each other soon, Y/N the Hedgehog."

Back to Sonic and others.

"You guys go on ahead! I need to distract those robots!" Y/N said, glaring at the robots behind her.

"What?! Are you crazy?!" Knuckles yelled in shock.

"It's too dangerous, sis!" Sonic protested.

"It's either that or let the robots know where we are heading! We can't risk it! We have to lose them! Just trust me on this one!"

Sonic sighed, knowing if he protest again, she won't listen.

"Alright, but be careful."

"I'll meet you guys there!" Y/N nodded.

"We'll see you, Y/N! Stay safe!" Tails called.

"I will!"

After Sonic and others sped off, Y/N turned to the robots while riding on her Extreme Gear.

"Hey! Looking for this?" Y/N held up her Ark of the Cosmos around her wrist, catching their attention.

"Come and get me!"

The robots then followed after her instead of Sonic and others. Y/N boosted her Extreme Gear to lose them, but they are already catching up. She looked ahead to see a starting line by the big tree as there's some sort of racing track but filled with trees, vines, and other wild things. She smirked and looked back at the robots.

"How about a race shall we? If you guys can catch up to me that is."

With that, Y/N boosted her Extreme Gear again as she rode down like a rollercoaster and glanced to her left to see the robot rolling over. They went around the circle tree as Y/N brought out her sword and sliced the ball robot, causing it to fall off the cliff. She continued racing as she went up in the air and did a 360 hardflip and landed safely.

"Show me what you got." Y/N said, looking at the Ark of the Cosmos and lifted it up.

The gravity made her float a bit and then made her go faster, surprising her.

"Whoa!"

Y/N noticed two rolling robots are coming close, making her glare at them. She brought out her whip and swung it towards one of them and wrapped it around the robot and flung it towards the other two. They crashed into each other, creating explosions as their parts are blown to pieces. She chuckled and boosted her Extreme Gear. She went through a long tree and jumped up high in the air and landed perfectly. Y/N then used her Ark of Cosmos again and went faster ahead of the robots that are trying to catch her. She started to like this stone as she jumped over the edge and did the gazelle flip then the 540 flip and landed on the other side of the track.

After two more laps, she made it first place as a winner.

"Looks like I win and you lose!" she said, turning back to see the damaged robots she destroyed.

Y/N smirked and boosted her Extreme Gear off to the MeteoTech where Sonic and others are.
