CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Start from the beginning

The two girls told you stories which happened when you weren't there, how they made up again and Maia supporting Chloe on her journey.
You could feel your eyes welling up, you missed having them around.
They noticed this and hugged you softly, saying howuch they've missed you and wished they reached out much earlier.
"We're sorry we didn't reach out, we wanted to but we didn't have any way of contacting you..."
Chloe said, looking apologetic. Maia nodded, now smiling mischievously,
She stood up, and rummaged through her black bag she had brought with her.
Taking out spray cans, her grin grew wider.
"How about we go back and be like the old times?"
Wiggling her eyebrows, you smiled, feeling excited. Chloe immediately sighed and agreed, she was the oldest in the group.

It's been awhile since you've done this, going to abandoned train stations and spray painting all over the walls.
Nonetheless, you threw the cap off and began painting. With music going off in the background as Maia and Chloe sprayed painted on the other walls.
You missed this rush of adrenaline, only it became more effective because all of you were adults and could be arrested if caught.
But it didn't matter, you wanted to have fun with your old friends again.
Laughing with eachother, skating down using Maria's extra boards, stopping by Mulby's and eating your hearts out.
The three of you went back as the afternoon grew hotter and hotter, going inside your home.

The three of you cooled off, while you also cooked for them. They were shocked and amused, questioning you.
"What about you, Y/N?"
Maia said while resting her chin on her palm.
Chloe smiled,
"Yeah, how did you learn how to cook?"
The both of them snickered as you rolled your eyes.
"Your cooking sucked, and here we are."
Maia chimed in, you turned around, serving them a plate of your cooking.
"I learned how to cook! You guys are mean, plus I had someone teach me."
They took a spoonful, looking very pleased.
"Who was this person that taught you how to cook?"
Chloe raised her eyebrows, wiggling them.
Scoffing, you told them it was just a friend.
While talking, someone knocked on your door. You stood up, wondering who could it be. Opening it slowly, Frank smiled innocently.
"Hey, Y/N."
He greeted as he came inside, wrapping his hands around your waist, kissing your forehead.
"Hey Frank. I have some friends over, by the way."
You said, noticing his eyebrows raised as he closed the door.
Looking towards the kitchen, seeing two girls waving at him, smiling smugly.

He waved back, smiling shyly, causing you to laugh softly. Introducing him to your friends, they quickly bombarded him with questions.
"Are you two dating?"

"How long have you been together?"

"Did you two have se--!"
Chloe quickly covered Maria's mouth.

But that question made you and Frank have coughing fits. Frank shook his head with flushed cheeks, looking at you with pleading eyes.
You smiled, putting your hand on his thigh.
"Yes, we are dating.."
You answered the first question,
The two girls nodded, urging you to go on.
"We uh.. We only started recently, so..."
You scratched your neck, feeling yourself blush. You haven't told anyone about your relationship with Frank yet.
They smiled, crossing their arms.

The four of you spent time together, just talking and chatting about the old times together and them telling Frank embarrassing stories about you during your younger years. You scowled, not wanting him to know about it. He laughed along with Maia and Chloe while you sulked.

Maia had said she'll be going home now and Chloe as well. The both of them left when the sun went down.
Leaving you and Frank alone, he sat down and watched you wash the dishes.
Humming quietly to yourself, you heard him standing up.
Drying your hands off as he wrapped his arms around you, facing him after.
Eyebrows raised, he smiled down at you.
"I missed you..."
The two of you in each other's arms, he turned the both of you around, lifting you up on the kitchen island.
"You've missed me? It's been two days, Frank."
He pouted,
"Still..."
You laughed at his childish behavior while he stood up properly, his face inches away from yours.
Rolling your eyes, you closed the distance. Pressing your lips on his, wrapping your arms around his neck.
His tongue swiping your bottom lip, you let him in, your tongues swirling with eachother.
Pulling you closer, wrapping his arms around your waist, standing in between your legs.

Before either of you could react, someone cleared their throat loudly. The two of you stopped, as you looked where the noise came from, you immediately went back to Frank, burying your face into the crook of his neck.
Frank looked behind you and saw Maia and Chloe standing by the door, smirking.
"I left my bag, so.."
Frank smiled shyly, as Maia grabbed her bag from the floor by the couch.
Before she closed the door, she chirped.
"Have fun you two!"
Shutting the door once she saw you flip her off, laughing while doing so.

Frank chuckled, still hugging you. He gave your neck a trail of soft kisses, making you giggle.
Cupping his face, you looked into his eyes.
Giving him another quick kiss on the lips.
He grinned, leaning more into your touch while holding your hand,
"Let's go somewhere this weekend."
