Salome spent that whole day with Kimi, finishing their tour around the pack and Kimi helping her get ready for the announcement ceremony that was gonna be held this evening.

Salome hadn't seen Heize the whole day, even though she could feel his presence looming, thats how much his aura radiated, like a force field around these packs.

She dressed in a long-sleeved tight black dress, that seemed to elongate her figure beautifully, and her hair being straightened and let down.

(More detailed, she is basically wearing the dress that Yasmeen ghauri wore for the Isaac Mizrahi spring/summer 1996 show)

While getting the last details done, her phone started to ring.

"Mom, what a surprise" She answered as the caller ID was her mothers

"Ya te olvidastes de tu propia madre?" Her mother said as Salome rolled her eyes jokingly at her mother through the phone

(Fyi, Salome's mother is originally Hispanic, and her father is Italian. Thats why she is speaking Spanish to her rn)

"No, sorry for not calling sooner, I've been busy these past few days" Salome said as Kimi motioned that she was gonna step out of the room to give Salome some privacy

"Thats alright, I understand. I've been there and I just wanted to call to see how you and that mate of yours has been doing" her mother asked, the curious tone from her was clear

"We've been great and tonight he's announcing me as his Luna, so I think things are good"

"Que Bueno amor, I'm so excited for you, and I hope it all goes smooth for you two from now on" Her mother said and Salome couldn't help frown and feel sad at this

She wished that things would be better but things weren't looking better, but Salome reminded herself that she needs to be strong, not only for herself, but for this pack that will become hers just as it is Heize's pack.

"I'll call you tommorow mom, con cuidado and tell dad and my siblings that I said hi" Salome said as she hanged up the phone and wiped the one tear that fell

She took a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror, her back being turned to the door that had just opened.

She seen Heize standing there from the reflection of the mirror, looking at her for a moment, before bowing greetingly at her.

"I didn't expect to see you anytime soon, well until the ceremony" Salome said first as he walked over to his closet

"I had to come change, my apology if I had you worried"

Salome scoffed and walked towards the closet, leaning up against the frame of the entrance.

"If anything, you being away made my current situation worse, just be a little considerate of the fact that it pains my wolf and it can be unbearable to deal with her at times" Salome said as she quickly looked down at the floor once Heize started to change infront of her

"And I wanted to apologize for last night, I didn't mean for it to go that far" Salome said as a clear blush formed on her cheeks

"I should be the one apologizing, I couldn't control my wolf and I took advantage of the current state that you were in last night" He said slipping on his shirt and then turning to salome, bowing once more but apologetically

"But i wanted you to do those things, you didn't take advantage of me at all" Salome said as Heize didn't know what to say

She looked so beautiful to him right now with her leaning up against the door frame, the clear blush on her face making him want to kiss all over it.

He walked closer to her, and she didn't move an inch, looking up at him directly without breaking contact.

"Lets not let what happen, happen again. Stop fixating yourself to an idea that your desires will be fulfilled by me, yesterday's mistake already caused enough inconvenience for me" He said as she stepped back from him and shook her head

"Can you stop.... can you stop acting like you don't want me, not in a sexual way but emotionally, tell me you atleast yearn for me the way I do, so that this pain that I feel every time I meet your cold stare isn't onesided" Salem said more firmly as it was evident that she had been feeling a mixture of emotions

His words hurt and with the pain of her heat, she was pushed over the edge.

"Give me hope, atleast that one day, you'll embrace as I am, as your mate and not just an inconvenience" she said as her voice grew quiet and tears ran down her face

He felt a sharp pain in his chest seeing her like this, his wolf scratching him from the inside for making her feel like this.

He couldn't bring himself to do what she asked of him, he couldn't bring himself to have her love him.

He wanted her to hate him, so that when this dangerous life they are living takes him away from her, its no love lost at the end of the day.

"Be down in 20, Kimi and my mom will show your way there" thats all he said as he left the crying Salome in the room alone

A few minutes pass and a soft knock was heard, and Kimi opened the door slowly.

"Alma, are you okay?" She said as she went to salome, bringing her into a hug

"I seen that Heize walked out and he told me to come get you, but did he do or say anything to you to be like this?" Kimi asked with worry as she examined Salome's face

"No, we just had a small argument, its nothing really, don't worry" Salome's said as she wiped her tears away and gave kimi a reassuring look

The younger girl just looked at her and sighed "my brother is an asshole for making you cry, next time he does this again, tell me so I can give him a good beaten"

Salome chuckled sadly and nodded, kimi sitting her down on the bed and fixing her makeup.

After they were done, they both walked towards the temple like structure, Heize's mother meeting them along the way.

A crowd of people were all outside of the Temple, while a couple of people were in the main building, Heize was in the middle of that small group in the temple.

All of the Pack members steered a path for Salome, All of them bowing to all three of them as they walked up the steps inside

"I hope this would all be worth it at the end"
