Tzuyu's PoV

I stopped as I saw the girl in front of our gate. She's holding a bag in her and greeted me nicely.

"Hi, uhm why are you here again?" I asked as I opened the gate.

"This, Chaeyoung left this." She said and handed me the bag.

"How- ah nevermind. Anyway, is the contest is done?" I asked

"Yeah, the result will be announce tomorrow. Uh how's Chaeyoung anyway?" She asked

"She's fine and taking a rest. want to come in?" I asked

"Is that fine?"

"Sure, I also have to ask something." I said as she entered. I closed the gate again and we entered the house.

"Tzuyu who's- oh... what did you say again before you opened the gate?" Mom asked as she looks at me teasingly.

"Mom, She's here for this." I said and lift Chaeyoung's thing.

"And she also have something to ask. Anyway, nice to meet you again." Somi said to my mom

Nice, really nice

"Ok then, nice seeing you too. I'll just go upstairs to check Chaeyoung. Tzuyu treat Somi nicely ok?" Mom said and went upstairs.

I just rolled my eyes and sat on the couch. I signed her to sit in front of me which she did.

"So hi, how's everything?" She asked

"It's fine. But I just need one quick answer for my question." I said.

She nodded and composed herself.

"Ok, so what is it?"

"When you got here for a haircut session. Chaeyoung seems so surprised when she so you. Do you knew each other before that time?" I asked

"Not really, I just met her in the hospital."

"Hospital?"

"Ah yeah, is that all?" She asked

"Y-yeah."

She stood up and about to go but she stopped.

"Anyway, I like Chaeyoung's work. I saw it awhile ago. Red strings, is that red strings in her work?" She asked as she put her hands under her chin.

"You know red strings?"

"Of course. But is that even real? I actually don't know." She said and shrugged.

"Anyway, I'll go now. Thanks!" She said and heads out of the house.

Third Person

Days had passed, they became all busy due to exam. Tzuyu on the other had feel safe since Chaeyoung is now focusing herself in studies. Reason for her not to see Mina but like what Chaeyoung said, the pain is still hunting her.

Tzuyu, Dahyun and Chaeyoung is already at the cafeteria as they finished their exam. It's lunch break already.

"Dahyun, come with us. It will be fun." Tzuyu said to Dahyun.

"Hayy, fine. But make sure I'm not going to feel out of place." Dahyun said

"Of course right chaeng?"

"Yeah. It will be fun." Chaeyoung said and smiled.

They actually talking about the outing that Tzuyu and Chaeyoung's mom planning. Tzuyu didn't inform the olders since she know that after their exam the seniors will be so busy.

"Are the seniors will come too?" Chaeyoung asked.

"No, they'll be having a tough schedule for exam. Unlike us, we can start our semestral break after our exam." Tzuyu said

They continue their talk and mostly, Dahyun opened up topics about how is she and stuff.

"You don't have any plan to go back in the dorm?" Tzuyu asked.

"Yeah, I'm all good in our house now. Usually I stay at the dorm to escape my problems in our house. But Eunwoo thought me a lesson that I should face it even tho it might hurt me." Dahyun said

On the other hand, the both just nodded after hearing what Dahyun said. Tzuyu seems to be happy that Dahyun is fine already with this kind of set up. Whenever Dahyun is with Momo the mood is not so heavy unlike before.

Not so far, Tzuyu saw the seniors arriving causing her to be alert.

"Guys, I'll leave first. Have fun eating." Tzuyu said and heads out.

She walks to the seniors and immediately called Mina to go to the library.

The other seniors walk to Dahyun and Chaeyoung while Mina and Tzuyu walks to the library.

She's always like that after the contest, even tho Chaeyoung said that she don't need to do it, she still did as she see it's a good decision to avoid her sister getting hurt. She made reasons and moves just to make Mina away from Chaeyoung even for a while.

"What are we looking for here in the library Tzuyu?" Mina asked.

"Uh, how's your day? Did it went well?" Tzuyu asked as she pretends to look for books.

"It's good, how about yours? And how's Chaeyoung? I rarely see her." Mina asked with a sadness.

"We're fine. Chaeyoung too." Tzuyu said

"Is that so? Can we finish our business now so we can go back?" Mina asked

"Don't you want to stay here for a while?" Tzuyu asked.

"Uhm, no. I really want to see your sister. This is actually my free time to see her since whenever I go to your house she's busy studying." Mina said

Tzuyu felt guilty by that. She doesn't want Mina to feel that way but so in her sister. It hurts her seeing her sister everyday suffering.

"Unnie."

"Hmm?" Mina hummed

"Can you stop seeing Chaeyoung?" Tzuyu asked looking down.

Mina was shocked but hoping that she heard it wrong.

"I know you didn't know this but... Chaeyoung told me that when she woke up and saw you, she felt nothing but pain. She felt like she's being stab million times. She's just hiding it. She doesn't want to avoid you because she know you'll feel sad about it. She became selfless but even her, she didn't know why. She also started to dream about the past. But all of that brought pain to her."

"Tzuyu what are y-"

"Unnie please, I hate seeing Chaeyoung in that situation anymore. She always cry everynight dreaming about what happened before she woke up in the hospital. She became selfless. Please, just stop seeing her." Tzuyu begged still looking down. She's stoping herself to cry but failed.

Mina remained silent as she doesn't know what to say, she walk out of the library but didn't walk to the cafeteria.

Instead she walks to the garden and recall what Tzuyu said.

I should have know that she's hurting all this time....does that mean we're not connected anymore? Am I selfish for wanting Chaeyoung to bring back her memories?
She thought as she's just staring at the grass blankly.
