HANNAH HOLMES grew up being pinned against her sister. It was as if their mother found enjoyment in seeing her daughters fight for her love. Enola was her favorite, and when Hannah won, their mother would loudly whisper to Enola, "she has nothing but luck." Soon enough, Hannah began to believe that. She would never find pride in anything ever again.
But her luck wasn't going to help her when her mother disappeared out of nowhere, it wasn't going to help when her brothers finally came home, it wasn't going to help when Mycroft, her brother, wants to send them off to boarding school. So, she did what she knew best, she ran away from her problems.
Then, another came floating around. Tewksbury. They found him in a bag, but turned out he was a lord, running away too. Hannah and Tewksbury found that they had more in common than they thought.
The feelings came unknowingly and then suddenly realized them, but it was too late, he betrayed her and left her broken hearted. She was alone, she didn't even have her jealous sister anymore. Until, she saw Charlotte again and then met her brother, William.
