Omniscient pov:

Kd walked up to his grandma house and knocked on the door.

He usually comes and see her every Sunday but he's been busy with work and other things.

The door opened and his grandma pulled him into a hug.

"Hey Kayden." She said letting him in following him to the living room.

"Hey grandma." He said sitting down going in her candy jar getting the werthers original caramel candy.

"You haven't been around to see me in a while." She said looking at her grandson.

"I know I've been busy it's a lot." He shook his head.

"I thought it was because of your new little girlfriend Dior." She said drinking some coffee and he shook his head.

"Nah me and her not even together no more." He said opening the Royal Dansk cookie container seeing needle and thread in there.

"Why not?" She asked him.

"Dang granny you always tricking me with these, what you do throw the cookies away and keep the container?" He asked.

"Boy no and don't avoid my question why aren't y'all together anymore?" She asked him.

"We exchanged some words and when I tried to talk to her she blew me off so." He shrugged.

"What kinda words messiah?" She said calling him by his nickname but he ain't say nothing.

He knew what he said would make his grandma upset.

"You hear me talking to you?" She asked him and he looked up at her.

"What did you do?" She said squinting her eyes at him.

"I told her to go be with her dead cousin and dad." He mumbled but she still heard him.

She stared at him then glanced to her side seeing a pillow and picking it up launching it at him hitting him in the head.

"Damn- I mean dang grandma what was that for." He said rubbing his head.

"Boy do you not know where your sister and mom is at? Do you not know how hurt people was behind those situations? and your out here saying shit like that to other people knowing how it feels?" She asked him and he ain't say nothing.

"You hear me talking to you boy?" She asked and he sighed.

"Yea grandma I know. But I'm not completely at fault because after I said that she had brung them up too." He said.

"If I was her I would've done the exact same thing, don't dish dirt if you can't take it Kayden."she told him.

"I know grandma." He told her and she shook her head in disappointment.

"Do you love her?" She asked him and he scrunched his face up looking up at her.

"Boy don't look at me like that your father use to look at me like that all the time when he was little and I'll pop him in his damn face." She said and he smacked his lips.

"Now answer my question Do you Love her or no?" She asked him and he thought about it then responded.

"I don't love her yet but I feel like i could have." He responded honestly.

He didn't love Dior. They was barely together, but he knew that she was the one he wanted to be with.

He just didn't know if that would happen anymore since their last conversation didn't end so well.
