?~Chapter 7~?

"That's what brought all of us here" Asahi said and I nodded in agreement.

"Say, you look so gloomy today, Captain" I said then continued eating my lunch.

"I've been stressed" he said then finished his lunch.

"Why don't we all go to the park then?" Noya said aith enthusiasm.

"That's a good idea" I said then raised my hand as a sign that I'm in the plan.

"Yeah, a nice walk around the park" Suga said then did the same.

Later on, everyone raised their hand except Daichi. Suga nudged him a little bit and he caved in. So this means we all get to be together later at the park.

~after classes~

Daichi's POV
I went to my locker to get my things. I was still stressed but not that much because I thought a walk in the park will be a good time to lossen up. After I got my things, I turned around and bumped into someone.

"Gomen"

"Gomen!"

"Oh, Michimiya" I said then rubbed the nape of my neck blushing.

"Hello! Wanna walk home again?" She said as we started going to the school's exit.

"No thanks, I'll be with some friends at the park to lossen up. I even cancelled practice because I've been stressed" I explained to her.

"Awh, I hope you're gonna do fine" she said then put a hand on my shoulder, which made me redder.

"Y-you're talking like I'm sick!" I said then we both laughed.

"Anyways, I'll go ahead. See you tomorrow!" She said then went the opposite direction.

She's always smiling, it's contagious.

It's nice to be with her, always happy. That lightened up my day even more. I wonder what she'll think if I liked her.

Yes, I've liked her for a while now. I've only confirmed my feeling maybe gradually until now. Too bad she can't join us later.

That's because you didn't ask her you baka!

"Daichi-san!" Y/n called from behind me.

"Oh, Y/n-san" I said then smiled at her.

"You seem happy today" she said then signalled me to follow her.

"Yeah, someone cheered me up" I said while walking to the group.

"Oh really?" She asked.

"Your captain" I said and out of no where the atmosphere dropped.

"She is really jolly" she said then put on some earphones.

"Let's go!" Noya said then we all walked to the park together.

Y/n's POV
I put on my earphones after hearing Daichi liked Michimiya.

Liked? He didn't even say anything!

I know but... I sense he does. It hurted me to hear that she made him happier and not me- nor his friends. I went on my playlist and played the song "Heather" by Conan Gray.

He was my favorite singer. His songs helped me in everything I went through. Now that he has released his new song, I started to listen to it over and over again.

I just mumble the lyrics of the portions of the songs that I don't know of. Sometimes I just listen to the song to understand the lyrics better.

We walked to the park and sat by a nearby bench. All of us didn't fit in the bench so some of us sat on the ground. I was sitting on the bench along with Asahi and Suga. Daichi sat on the armrest while Tanaka and Noya sat on the floor.

"Now breathe the cool air" Suga said softly as he inhaled.

"Hey, we aren't here to meditate" Tanaka said as he nudged Suga's leg.

"Relax" Suga said while gripping on Tanaka's bald head.

Me and the others tried to hold back some laughs that eventually escaped our lips. Tanaka rubbed his pained head while me and Noya do the same.

"Stop that!" He said then swatted our hands away.

"Awh look, baldie's mad" Daichi teased which made Tanaka stand up.

"Ey we gon' square up?" He said then pulled up his sleeves.

"RUN" Noya said then we scattered, Tanaka following Daichi closely behind.

We all started to play tag which had a sprinkle of hide and seek in it.

Oh how good it feels to become a kid again.

I follow Daichi near a store which the owner eventually shouted at us and complained by how loud we are. He randomly came out of no where so I slipped and fell.

"Y/n-san, are you okay?" Daichi said then bent down to my level.

"Yeah, my bum hurts but it'll subside after 5 seconds" I said then touched his arm.

"Tag"

"GAH-" He said then lost balance and fell beside me.

"YOU LOSE!" I said then it drew out the others from their hiding spot.

"You did that on purpose!" He said whilst still being on the ground.

"It's what you call luck, Daichi-san" I said then hair flipped.

"Don't sass me young woman" he said then sat up.

"I can sass who ever I want" I said then stood up.

"Hey guys, I think it's gonna rain" Noya said while he helped Daichi up.

"Is it?" I said then looked up at the sky.

"Yeah we should head back, I don't have an umbrella with me" Asahi said.

"I have but of course it doesn't... fit all of us" I said and brought out my umbrella.

Droplets started to come then it poured. For some reason, me and my best friends had the instinct to latch onto each other.

"Hurry let's catch the bus! We need to get home!" Suga said as he and the third years ran to the bus stop in front of the park.

Noya jumped on Tanaka's back and we all ran to the bus stop. Luckily, we were still able to get in and take some seats.

The bus stopped at different places and the others got off to go home. My stop came so I went off the bus and bid goodbye to Noya, who was left in the bus. I got home and the first thing I did was to take a shower.

I plopped on my bed and checked the time.

6:07 pm

I'll take a rest first then after that I'll prepare dinner.
