Wilbur and schlatt worked together at a small coffee shop for quite sometime and schlatt feelings grew for him but one night before closing down Wilbur ran inside with blood covering him.
that night schlatt found out that...
Wilbur looks away " those words stuck to me for years and I want to go but… I know it will be hard to go without thinking about him and his words…" schlatt frowns " and its okay will... " wilbur shook his head " I'm just… " he paused " I know when I go I'm going to cry because its going to bring back memories of him… "
Wilbur's fingers kept going through his hair as a tear slipped from his eye " aw.. wilbur, " schlatt sat up and used his thumbs to wipe away his tears " its okay wilbur, " wilbur quietly cried making schlatt shush him hugging him " I miss him.. " schlatt sighs " I know you do, loosing a parent is hard I know… but your father is still waiting for you, and he'll always be there for you will. "
Wilbur sniffles " He will would he? " schlatt picks his face up and smiles staring directly into his eyes " of course will, " schlatt smiles " we're going to texas, " wilbur looked at schlatt with shock " what? " schlatt smiled even wider " you heard me baby(!) WE'RE GOING TO TEXAS!!!, " wilbur stares at him and sniffles " r-really? " schlatt nodded " yup, we're going to see your dad together will. " wilbur was in complete shock that he just pulled schlatt into a tight hug with his face in the crook of his neck.
" I'm so glad I'm with you… "
Schlatt blushed, a small smile was now on his face and hugged wilbur back, tightly, schlatt loved the fact that they're holding each other right now " I'm glad as well will. "
They held each other for a while, the two loved the fact that they were hugging each other, wilbur liked Schlatt's scent, he smelled like strawberries… sweet strawberries.
Wilbur looks up and sees the workers gone " SCHLATT! " He said out loud making the american throw himself back " Ow(!) What?! " he yelled " oops, I'm sorry did I–? " schlatt rubbed his ear " YES. " Wilbur nodded " okay, BUT LOOK! " He said pointing " THEY'RE GONE! " Wilbur stood up " you ready?? "
Schlatt was very nervous but sighs standing up " anywhere you go will I go. " wilbur smiled " then let's go! "
The two ran out from the woods and looked at the cars " which one do you want to take? " wilbur asked looking around, schlatt looked around until a Volkswagen van caught his eyes, he pointed " that one, " wilbur raised a brow " but why– " " because of we get too tired of driving we can pull over and lay in the back together. "

Wilbur blushed " y-yes(!) That sounds like the perfect plan, " schlatt nods and they both quickly and quietly ran to the van, wilbur reached into his book bag and took out a thin wire he found in the woods, he started to wriggle the wire in the car window for a solid two minute with schlatt nervously jumping and looking around and back at the males where they were once standing,
" come on will! " he whisper shouted, wilbur gritted his teeth " I'm trying– "

Their mouths both made a 'O' wilbur laughs out but schlatt quickly cover his mouth " Wait until we get out of here, " wilbur nods and opens the drivers door and closed the door, the first thing Wilbur did was unlock the passenger side door, schlatt got inside and shut the door " okay okay, are you sure you know what you're doing??? " wilbur nods and reaches his hands under " of course dumbass I've done this before. "
Schlatt raised a brow " you sound hella sus saying that. " wilbur rolls his eyes and bites down softly on his tongue, suddenly the car turned on " NO SHIT. " Wilbur smiles " YES SHIT!! " he said happily " Okay(!) We need to go before the owner comes– "
" AYE!!! "
Both of their eyes widen looking out the window seeing the man now standing outside with other men, the guy started running towards them making the two panic " SHITSHITSHIT– DRIVE WILBUR DRIVE!!!! " wilbur put the car in drive " FHSKJS— IM TRYING SCHLATT!!!! "
" TRY FUCKING HARD ENOUGH!!!! "
Wilbur pressed down on the gas petal and they sped off out of the parking lot still seeing the man chase them but he wasn't fast enough, both of the friends laughed out loud now on the road " HOLY SHIT YOU DID IT!!! " wilbur laughs " I KNOW I FUCKING DID IT(!) HOLY BLOODY HELL!!! "
They laughed as they drove.
The two calmed down sighing, wilbur looks at schlatt seeing how his eyes were heavy looking, wilbur smiled " hey if your tired you can sleep. " schlatt looks over at him and shook his head " nah I'm good will I'm– " wilbur shushes him " no, grab the blanket in my book bag and cover yourself, you can use my jacket as a pillow if you'd like? "
Schlatt wanted to deny but he knew the way wilbur was so he just sighed with defeat, schlatt did what wilbur said and covered himself with the blanket and laid his head down on the jacket on top of the arm rest, minutes later he heard soft snores coming from the american, wilbur smiled at him and saw his hand.
Wilbur grabbed his hand and held it tightly, he picked up Schlatt's hand and pecks it looking at the sleeping male.
" goodnight love, I'll see you in the morning, "
He said as he drove into the night.
