The power to save or destroy the world (Katsuki x Reader)

(I just watched the fight between Izuku and Overhaul and I now see where this book is going to go. It's gonna suck, these next chapters are gonna be really sad and I'm sorry in advance but I promise you, that fight is going to happen later on and y/n will be a major key to it.)

Y/n's POV

*A few months after the attempt kidnapping*

  "So far I've only been able to follow the chain to the dealers but never past that, they've grown more secure recently." Tsu announced and I nodded tiredly.

    "Anytime we find a lead that lead ends up being another dead body with a cut throat." Momo pipes up.

    I was beyond frustrated and very tired, my nightly patrols had doubled in these last few weeks because of the spike in crime.

    Everyone looked tired and defeated, looking around at each other with glazed eyes.

     I sighed and their eyes all snapped to me.

     "I'll just have to increase my patrol time, they are right under our noses!" I huffed in annoyance.

     "Y/n, that's great that you're really focused, but when's the last time you got a proper sleep?" Deku asked, concern in his voice.

     I looked out the big office window and thought hard, I'd had maybe a total of...six to seven hours total all week but I wasn't about to tell them that, I'd heard enough lecturing from Katsuki.

     "I'm fine." He gave me his Im-not-stupid look but I just looked away again.

        "How's Kofuku and Eri?" I hear Jiro ask Kiri and Iida.

        "They're getting along just fine, Mina says they seem to really like each other." Kiri said and Iida cuts in.

        "Yes, Ura says that they're inseparable." I see him making chop motion hands and smile a bit.

       It's just like the old days at U.A. us all gathered around and hanging out.

      I frown and stare out into the city.

   The longer it took us to find their base the longer Kofu was in danger and it worried me, I got lucky last time, but I don't know if I'd be so lucky again, and I hate to even imagine what they'd do to him if they ever got their hands on Kofu.

     I just have to get to one of the dealers before Toga! That was proving harder than it seemed though.

    "...y/n....y/n!" I snapped out of my thoughts and turn my head to look at Sero and the rest of the group, they all gazed back at me with concern.

    It honestly was starting to piss me off, I was a grown woman damnit!

     "Yeah Sero?" I asked.

   "I was asking you where Bakugo was, but you were so lost in thought I had to say your name a few times...are you sure you're all right?" I smiled.

     "I'm fine, I just got lost in thought it all." He nods but the rest of the group doesn't look convinced.

     "Where is Kacchan anyway?" My smile froze.

      "..."

     "I don't know..." I admitted with defeat.

     They all looked shocked.

"What do you mean you don't know? You live with him don't you?" Denki asked.

      "Yeah, we had a huge fight last night, he stormed out of the house and I wasn't going after him, he didn't come back but sent me a text to let me know he wasn't kidnapped or anything..." They all looked shocked and I couldn't blame them, I was shocked too.
